There are no puzzles in the game, with the plot advanced by triggering events. Items are used automatically in their corresponding locations.

You are Kira Akishino, an ace student from one of the best universities in Boston. You are offered a tutoring job at the illustrious Gloria mansion, along with your friend Georg. But there's something more to it all... the Glorias are hiding some things, and it's up to you to find out what they are. Will you be able unlock the family secrets? Or will you just be a good tutor? Wizardry: The Wedge of Life is a dungeon crawling role-playing game for Nintendo DS, and the first game in Wizardry Renaissance series, released by Suzaku (also known as SUZAK) and Genterprise on November 19, 2009 only in Japan. It was the first game to incorporate real-time dungeon crawling gameplay and utilizes DS stylus, which later be brought over on Wizardry: Legacy of Oblivion.
