Popeye

Popeye is a 1982 arcade game developed and released by Nintendo based on the Popeye cartoon characters licensed from King Features Syndicate. In Popeye, two players can alternate playing or one player can play alone. The top five highest scores are kept along with the player's three initials. Popeye was available in standard and cocktail configurations.

The official Popeye game in which you play the spinach eating sailor in this modernized adaptation of the classic arcade game. The objective of the game is to get the highest score by completing as many levels as you can by collecting hearts and letters thrown down by Olive all while trying to avoid the dangers of the witch, vulture and Popeye's rival Brutus. Find and eat the spinach and get the special powers needed to punch your enemies into the sea and become faster at collecting the items before they return. Popeye is a simple, pick up and play, fast action, fun game which anyone can play, but be warned winning a high score won't come easy.

Popeye: Rush for Spinach has Popeye throwing the gauntlet in a series of races on different vehicles, trying to defeat the fierce opposition presented by other popular characters, such as Olive Oyl, Wimpy and Brutus. The Magic Pockets-developed game features four fully playable characters, 12 races in richly detailed and interactive landscapes, 13 locomotion types for each character, and a four-player link mode with confrontation and cooperation.

A fast moving platform game in which the player controls the Indiana Jones-esque and unfortunately named 'Edward Randy'. The levels are an inventive mix of standard platform action and 3-D scrolling levels; the latter usually having the player driving a jeep and repelling the enemy attacks. The game is based on the archetypal Hollywood action blockbuster and features a filmic score to back up the on-screen action. The player's only weapon is a whip - another nod to the Indiana Jones character - which can be used to both attack enemies and as a 'rope', to enable the player to reach distant platforms.

Bug! is a platformer where you play as a bug who must go through 6 worlds in order to rescue his family who has been kidnapped.

The evil witch Scylla has trapped Hugo in a mirror, and now it's up to you to rescue him. In Hugo and the Evil Mirror, you must save Hugo in three different worlds, each guarded by dangerous monsters. Use the freeze gun to turn enemies into ice cubes, and then push them over the edge of the levels or combine them with other frozen monsters to gain power-ups.

Enter the arena and face the other holes in a fierce battle. Eat everything in sight with your black hole and expand it to eat more! Show them who is the biggest hole in town!

The player has to climb a vertical maze which walls are moving back and forth horizontally - all the while evading enemies and collecting coins.

Stack Ball Run! is a 3D arcade game where you smash, push and jump over rotating spiral platforms to get to the end.

Froggy's Adventures is a game where the player plays as frog. That has to collect all of the flowers/mushrooms/pebbles/crystals on each level, while avoiding enemies.
