Draw boxes to claim as much screen as possible without getting in the path of the "Qix" and "Sparx". Draw slower for more points and hope that you have enough coins. Simple but very addicting!

QIX++ is a Xbox Live Arcade remake of the game QIX that now includes high definition graphics. The object of the game is to defeat the "QIX" using the user controlled marker to cut off more than 75% of the playing area. Once the 75% of the playing area is cut off, you will advance to the next level. During the game, the QIX will come in the form of waves, expanding triangle patterns and floating circles. Also hindering you in-game will be energy pulses along the edge of the playing area that will cost you a life if you come into contact with them. However you do get some help during play. If you cut off an area with a pick-up in it, you will get a helping boost. These come in the form of point boosts and limited invincibility. You have two stages to complete, each with eight sections to them. Multiplayer offers either local or online play where you can compete with up to 4 players or bots. The aim of QIX++ in multiplayer is identical to the single player element, only you are now racing to be the one that clears the board first.

Xonix is a classic arcade-style DOS game which was probably inspired by Qix. In the game, the player controls a small marker that moves on a rectangular playfield. The goal is to claim a certain percentage of the playfield by drawing lines with the marker around areas that have not been claimed yet. The player must avoid collisions with balls bouncing around the playfield to avoid losing a life.

This is an old game of mine that I felt like sharing here. Problems may occur while playing it, so apologies up front. Original release date was back in 2010. Lord Gavin, a dark master with a once terrifying power to alter reality as he saw fit, sot to rewrite the physical world in his image, leaving those helpless to beg under his will. Thought time, he was cast into eternal imprisonment within the virtual world by heros chosen by fate and chance. There he would reside and spare the world from his dark intent. With the knowledge of him gone from the passing of time, Lord Gavin once agai became unbound from his virtual domain and was free to unleash his wrath into our world. With humanity staring Virtual Armageddon in the eyes, another chosen hero stood to face against this evil and drive it out of our world. That hero was known as "The Angry Video Game Nerd".
