SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and Steam! Based on the upcoming movie airing in Japan this March, Shin Kamen Rider, the new beat em' up/hack and slash game will showcase the fight between Kamen Rider and Shocker in a SD visual style.

Zekkyō Senshi Sakeburein was a Nintendo DS game exclusively available to Club Nintendo members in Japan. This quirky multiplayer beat'em up forced players to attack by shouting key phrases into the DS' built-in microphone.

Crayon Shin-Chan 3 is an Action game, developed and published by Okiyasu Lab, which was released in Korea in 2000.

Battletoads for the Game Boy (not to be confused with Battletoads in Ragnarok's World, which is a port of the NES game) is the second game in the Battletoads series.

Asterix is a horizontal-scrolling beat'em up arcade game released in 1992 by Konami. It is based on the French comic series Asterix and Obelix. The player fights as either Asterix the Gaul or his best friend, Obelix, as they take on the 'might' of the oppressive Roman Empire. Asterix includes a variety of humorous fighting moves, which are demonstrated in the game's attract mode. The artwork and feel of Asterix remains true to its French source material, and the game's many humorous touches (such as the way defeated Legionnaires crawl away) will be instantly familiar to fans of the comic-book and cartoon series. Bonus levels - such as the chariot race that awaits at the end of the first level - introduce different gameplay elements to provide a break from the fighting.

Spinmaster is a platform/beat 'em up arcade game developed and released by Data East in 1993. The story follows the main character Johnny and his sidekick Tom as they battle their way through treasure-seeking, mad scientist, Dr. De Playne's henchmen in a quest to save Johnny's girlfriend Mary and get their hands on a hidden treasure. Both playable characters are armed with yo-yos but can also upgrade to other weapons (such as throwing stars, icicle daggers and guided missiles) to defeat all enemies and help them open treasure chests.

Side-scrolling beat 'em ups in which you must rescue a trapped female friend are nothing unusual. Where this one stands out, however, is the setting of your character as a duck called Bin, and with motion having a clear waddling appearance. The enemies to fight are all from the animal kingdom, but somewhat warped - crocodiles with boxing moves and cows armed with rocket packs for example. Bin has six levels to clear before he can rescue Lucy from Archaca's clutches.

This parody of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre sees Leatherface replaced with a bumbling idiot from Ohio who can't start his weedeater leading to an accident.

GetBackers Dakkanya: Dakkandayo! Zenin Shuugou!! is a beat 'em up videogame released only in Japan by Konami for the PS2 in 2003.
