Sonic Robo Blast!

Sonic Robo Blast is an early Sonic fan game from 1998, created by Sonikku, real name Johnny Wallbank, of Sonic Team Junior. It is one of the earliest Sonic fangames to exist and led to the founding of Sonic Team Junior as well as the eventual creation of it's sequel, Sonic Robo Blast 2.

Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers is a kart racing video game originally based on the 3D Sonic the Hedgehog fan-game "Sonic Robo Blast 2", which itself is based on a modified version of Doom Legacy. It is the sequel to Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart. Hang up your sneakers, because Dr. Robotnik and his ex-enemies are going go-karting! Relive the adventure of Super Mario 3D World now in 2D! Super Mario 2D World Deluxe is a fangame where players can spend hours of fun with friends. Players will be able to enjoy the new static and environmental objects, and the same characters from the Mario universe.

Sonic P-06 is a platform game developed by Argentinian programmer "ChaosX" for Windows. It is an unofficial remake of the 2006 video game Sonic the Hedgehog, originally developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The remake features many improvements over the original source material, such as improved controls, faster load times, enhanced visuals, various bug fixes, restored dialog, and brand new mid-level cutscenes. P-06 has a huge cult following and an active speedrunning community. As of August 2023, nine demos have been released, containing all main acts from Sonic's, Shadow's, and Silver's campaigns. The boss fights, hub worlds, town missions, and final story from the original game are not yet playable in P-06.

Sonic Galactic is a 2D fan-game inspired by the Classics. Taking a more "Saturn" approach with its art direction, Galactic aims to be a sort of continuation to where the classics left off. Aiming to follow the classics, Galactic features new zones, brand new sprites, and a new character! This energetic mole is more than willing to join the team in their battle against Dr. Eggman! This has been a fan-game under the works for about 3 years, and is currently using Hatch Game Engine, an engine built from the ground up with accuracy perfectly replicating the classics.

Introducing a Sonic fan-game titled Sonic vs Darkness. This game is a remake of Nefault1st's first Sonic fan-game Sonic vs Darkness (2011), which began as a sprite-animated Sonic series project on YouTube. This demo features two playable characters Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog, and will include stages inspired by the ones from the original fan-game. Like the original version, the gameplay style is inspired by multiple modern Sonic games such as “Sonic Rush” and “Sonic Unleashed”.

Kuso, the sequel to Love, is a reductive platforming game with a retro aesthetic and a focus on a challenging difficulty. You find yourself in a minimalist world and with only the ability to run and jump, as well as the option to leave a checkpoint on any solid ground. Make your way through acid, long jumps, disappearing platforms, bouncers, and swinging axes.

What if Sonic Triple Trouble had been originally released on the Sega Genesis / MegaDrive, after Sonic 3 & Knuckles?

Sonic Before the Sequel (abbreviated Sonic BTS) is a fan game created by LakeFeperd that is meant to explain the events that may have taken place between Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. In it, the player plays as Sonic and Tails, alternating between the duo through numerous zones as Sonic goes to stop Dr. Eggman from launching the Death Egg, with Tails trying to keep up and eventually meet and team up with Sonic. An update was released during SAGE 2012, adding improved graphics, an original soundtrack made by Falk, KgZ, Andy Tunstall & Funk Fiction, and a bonus boss if you reach the good ending. A sequel, Sonic After the Sequel, and an interequel, Sonic Before the Sequel Aftermath (which has now formed into another fangame by LakeFeperd called Sonic Chrono Adventure), were released as well.
