Stellaris: Overlord
Parent game
Stellaris is a real-time 4X grand strategy game set in a procedurally generated galaxy. Players control an interstellar civilization, exploring star systems connected by hyperlane networks, colonizing habitable worlds, and managing their empire's economy across resources like energy, minerals, and alloys. The game emphasizes empire customization through species traits, ethics, government types, and civics that shape both aesthetics and mechanics. Gameplay progresses through diplomacy, trade, and warfare with other civilizations, while mid-game and late-game galactic crises introduce escalating threats such as extragalactic invasions or hostile artificial intelligence awakenings. Players can pursue ascension paths including genetic engineering, cybernetic augmentation, or psionic abilities. Originally released for PC, the game later received a console edition and has been supported with numerous expansions adding megastructures, new empire types, espionage mechanics, and additional crisis scenarios.

Ashes of the Singularity is a real-time strategy game set in humanity’s not-so-distant future. What it means to be human has changed with the coming of the singularity. In the post-human economy, sentience is now the most valuable commodity in the universe. The only way to acquire more of that is through the control of Turinium – programmable matter – which can extend consciousness to levels we can't even imagine. Worlds are being transformed into this substance and wars are now being fought across the galaxy for control of those worlds. Each conflict takes place across an entire world. It isn't a skirmish. It's a war. Thousands of units are constantly constructed and sent across the planet with the player directing entire armies, in real time, to capture key resources in an effort to gain total control of the planet.

Each mission puts you in the role of commander of either the Imperial army or the Freedom fighters in a campaign to undermine and eventually destroy the opposing force. This game has many unusual features for the RTS genre. AI patterns you to simply give a unit the order "Search and Destroy" and it would drive off towards the enemy's last known location, in search for something to kill. There is also "explore" mode which let your units do all the map exploring for you. A mission/campaign editor is also provided.
