Thermopylae: The Last Stand

480 BC. The Persian Empire is coming. You are standing in its way. King Xerxes has assembled an enormous invasion force with one objective: push through Greece and bring the independent Greek city-states under Persian rule. At the narrow coastal pass of Thermopylae, a vastly outnumbered Greek force makes its stand. You take command on the front line. Armed with spear, sword, and shield, you must hold the pass as wave after wave of Persian soldiers attempts to break through your defenses. As the invasion intensifies, stronger enemies emerge, the battlefield becomes increasingly brutal, and the overwhelming size of Xerxes' army begins to reveal the true nature of your mission. You aren't fighting because victory is guaranteed. You're fighting because surrender isn't an option.
