The original version of Tobe's Vertical Adventure released as an Xbox Live Indie Game in 2010. The game was delisted in 2011 after the release of the PC port, which added a second character with a different moveset and storyline. Tobe's Vertical Adventure is a classic 2D platformer, where players join Tobe on his quest for the treasure of King Garuza. Play the game in single or co-op modes through hours of platforming fun, in 16 levels, on 4 unique islands! Get ready for Tobe, the little guy with the big head, big adventure!

If you have N minutes to beat all the missions and you only reach stage 24 before running out of time, stage 25 will remain locked and inaccessible. You'll have to replay previous stages (any stage, at any time, whenever you want) in order to obtain better clear times, gaining extra seconds to unlock the next stages. It's all about understanding and mastering Erin’s small but useful set of moves and weapons, and knowing all enemy patterns. That's the only way you'll reach the end of the adventure.
