Track & Field

A sports game, port of the arcade game Track & Field. It was later released in Europe as Track & Field in Barcelona in 1992, in the light of the 1992 Summer Olympics, earlier versions were simply known as Track & Field. The opening song for the NES version is the Chariots of Fire theme by Vangelis (which was also used in the arcade version's high score screen).

The classic sporting game series of Track and Field celebrates its' 25th Anniversary by coming to the Nintendo DS. All the excitement and fun of the original titles is brought up to date with a bright and stylish new look, more events and online play.

Game Boy Color release of Track & Field games is different to the console and computer version in a way that it does not use 3D graphics but instead uses sprites with 2D graphics with various gameplay perspectives, depending on one of the twelve available athletic games. Main two gameplay modes are Single Play and Versus Play.

This Game is 2-Player Only. In this version of soccer, each player controls 4 men, though only one at a time. The computer moves the other 3 for you. A computer-controlled goalie will help out when a goal attempt is made. Kick the ball around for 90 minutes, and try to score more than your opponent.

Kick Off was the first football game of its kind, having a top-down view and unlike other football games of that time, the ball was not glued to the feet of the players.

The actual gameplay centers on shot timing and shot choice, with the players' bats moving automatically to track the movement of the ball. FIFA Soccer 96 is an entry to the FIFA series of video games, and was developed by Extended Play Productions and published by Electronic Arts. You can choose from all of the NBA teams, create a team with players you create yourself, or choose a team formed by the All-Star players of the east or West coasts. When you create a player yourself you can customize the player to a high degree. There are over 60 offensive and 10 defensive set-ups. Match options include an exhibition match, a whole season or the playoffs.
