Who Wants to be a Millionaire Kids Edition is another follow up to the original Who Wants to be a Millionaire video game series from 1999, and based on the ABC TV series that aired before syndication. This edition is kid-oriented, which is suitable for ages 8 and up. Regis Philbin returns as the host of the game. A variety of questions are suitable for the target age group which are a little easier. There are also lifelines, for example, Regis asks a kid via a Phone-a-Friend which gives him or her a possible answer. Another one of the lifelines is ask the audience, where the kids entered in a poll for most of the questions from the game. Topics include Movies, Sports, Music, TV Shows, Books, and more.

This version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was released on Wii and DS in 2010. Players try to answer 15 multiple-choice questions of increasing difficulty, with the dollar value for each question increasing all the way up to one million dollars. If they player is stumped by a question, they may narrow their choices down by using up one of three lifelines - Ask the Audience, Double Dip, and Phone a Friend. Players can also choose to walk away and retain their winnings.
