One day Mother Nature asks for Woody Woodpeckers help. The reason? The Fairy World had been seized by demons. Woody?s interest is sparked when he learns that there is a treasure chest waiting in the legendary castle of the Fairy World. But to reach the castle Woody has to first free the five worlds of the elements of nature. The five element worlds are each separately made up of fire, water, wind, sand and wood. Each world has its own different features, its own mysterious castle, occupied by a demon that has one element key. Once Woody has gathered all five keys, the legendary Crazy Castle appears. Woody must face the same types of challenges he faced in previous five worlds as he heads toward the throne to meet the demon that occupies Crazy Castle.

Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park is an adventure game in the third person, in which the player controls his character in an environment modeled in computer graphics and real-time 3D , with the camera placed behind or around the figure. The game consists of twenty-one levels of type platform. The progress in the game is based primarily on the skill and dexterity needed to overcome obstacles that present themselves (to cross chasms, climb walls) or unblock access to the following level by manipulating objects (Woody sometimes needs use its beak to that effect). When Woody must skip a cross indicates in advance the precise location where it is about to fall, thus aiming at best. The game also includes a battle against the minions from Buzz Buzzard Woody can attack in different ways, using its beak or special attacks. Besides Woody Woodpecker himself, the player can also choose to play Knothead or Splinter once Woody found one of them.

The player takes on the role of the Road Runner - from the much-loved Warner Bros. cartoon series - and must outrun and outsmart the villainous Wile E. Coyote, in this abstract sideways-scrolling racing game from Atari. A variety of traps and pitfalls await the Road runner (such as a cannon, land mines, cliff-top drop etc.) which must be carefully avoided. It is possible, however, to lure Wile E. Coyote into these traps to put some valuable distance between the Road Runner and his pursuer. Road Runner must also eat the piles of seed that appear at various points throughout the stages, as missing five bird seeds will cause Road Runner to faint and result in the player losing a life. Road Runner's colourful, beautifully-drawn graphics capture the spirit and humour of the legendary cartoons perfectly. The music and sound effects are also faithful to the cartoon series.
The game stars popular cartoon character Bugs Bunny who finds and activates a time machine after taking a wrong turn at Albuquerque. He ends up in Nowhere, home of a sorcerer named Merlin Munroe ("Moyle" to Bugs, or "Merl" but in Bugs accent). Merlin then informs Bugs that he is lost in time and that he must travel through five different eras of time (spanning 21 levels in total) in order to collect clock symbols and golden carrots that will allow him to return to the present.
