Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is the sequel to Donkey Kong Country. It was developed by Rare and is one of the best selling Super Nintendo games.

Donkey Kong Racing is another canceled game, this one focusing on Donkey Kong instead of Diddy Kong. It would feature new Animal Friends such as a gigantic Rambi and a purple Enguarde. It was seen at E3 2001. After the buyout of Rare, the game was soon reworked into Sabreman Stampede for the Xbox 360 but, this iteration of the installment was also canceled.

Diddy Kong Racing is set on Timber's Island and revolves around Diddy Kong and his friends' attempt to defeat the intergalactic antagonist, a wizarding pig named Wizpig, through winning a series of races. The player can take control of any of the featured characters throughout the game. Diddy Kong Racing features five worlds with four racetracks each, and the ability to drive a car, hovercraft, or pilot an aeroplane.

Donkey Konga is a GameCube rhythm video game starring the ape Donkey Kong, developed by Namco and published by Nintendo. Instead of the standard GameCube controllers, the game is intended to be played with a special controller called the DK Bongos that resemble two small bongo drums. Donkey Konga was developed by the same team of people who made the Taiko: Drum Master series for the PlayStation 2. The tracks include hits such as "Louie Louie", "We Will Rock You", "Shining Star", "Rock Lobster" and "Losing My Religion". In 2008 and 2009, the game was re-released in the New Play Control! series of revamped Nintendo GameCube titles. This is the first game to be rated E10 by the ESRB.

Donkey Kong Barrel Blast is a racing game where the player can handle the selected character using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, replacing the DK Bongos that initially were to be used. To speed the player must shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk simultaneously, lift them to jump and use the motion sensor to beat rivals and obstacles and using items, while the character will be guided by the route of the tracks, including curves of automatic. Players can learn to race at Cranky's flight school where Cranky gives 8 lessons on how to play the game, acceleration, use of elements and Wild Move.

Donkey Konk was an online Donkey Kong 64-themed Shockwave game published for Camp Hyrule, also released on the official Donkey Kong 64 website.

Donkey Kong 64 Lore Quiz was an Adobe Shockwave quiz game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo in order to promote the release of Donkey Kong 64 on the Nintendo 64.

Kremling Krushin was an online Flash game released to promote the Game Boy Color release of Donkey Kong Country. It could be played on the game's official website, which is currently no longer in use by Nintendo.

DKC 3: Barrel-Blastapalooza was an online Flash advergame hosted on the now defunct Donkey Kong Country official website, as well as in the Nintendo Arcade section of nintendo.com. It promoted the Game Boy Advance release of Donkey Kong Country 3. Much like the game it advertises, Barrel-Blastapalooza stars Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong.

The developers at Rare intended to develop a Donkey Kong Country game for the Virtual Boy, but it was cancelled. The development went only as far as simple platforming stage which was made using Donkey Kong Land's graphics and rat enemies from Battletoads. It was previously misremembered by a developer to be an early version of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. No real footage of the game was ever found, with mock-ups being found on the internet.

Donkey Kong Country: Barrel Maze, or Donkey Kong Barrel Maze, is a browser game developed by Skyworks Interactive (formerly Skyworks Technologies) and published on their website, Candystand.com, under Nintendo's endorsement. It requires Adobe Shockwave to run. The game is based on elements from Donkey Kong Country and has Donkey Kong in a quasi-starring role, with Diddy Kong and Cranky Kong only making cameo appearances on the title and loading screens. The player controls a barrel loaded with bananas and has to roll it through a series of obstacles to reach DK at the end of every stage in the game.
