Donkey Kong Returns is an enhanced port of the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. It was part of a batch of Nintendo games released for the console in a collaboration of Nintendo and Nvidia, in 1080p and with gameplay adapted to work without the need of motion controls. All of the Nintendo games released in this deal ran on special versions of the emulator Dolphin, which made possible all of the changes applied.

Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Cranky Kong return for the franchise’s debut on Nintendo Switch. This title includes all the fun and challenge of the original game, plus a new beginner-friendly mode that lets players enjoy this critically acclaimed adventure as groovy surfing simian Funky Kong. Funky Kong can double jump, hover, perform infinite rolls and even perform infinite underwater corkscrews. Thanks to his sturdy surfboard, even spikes can’t slow him down. The game launches for Nintendo Switch on May 4.

Diddy Kong Racing DS: Timber's Balloon Pop was an online Flash-powered advergame released by Nintendo to promote Diddy Kong Racing DS. It was listed along with other Nintendo-related web advergames in the Nintendo Arcade section of Nintendo's official website. The player takes control of Timber, with Diddy Kong himself only making a cameo in the introductory screen. A mugshot of Wizpig is used as the game's icon in the Nintendo Arcade, though he is not present in the game.

Battle Racers is a Mode 7-enabled racing game and part of the Compati Hero Series, which combines characters from Gundam, Kamen Rider and Ultraman. It also uses a similar zoomed-out view of the track for the second player's window for the game's single-player mode. Mario Kart Arcade GP is an arcade-only iteration of Nintendo's Mario Kart series, developed by Namco. Designed for the Triforce arcade board (also used for F-Zero AX), players can race as one of eleven characters on twenty-four tracks. On certain machines, for an additional fee, a player's data can be saved on a magnetic card which can be inserted into the machine again later to retain unlocked items and records. Nintendo's limited role of development was mainly isolated to ensuring that it was a worthy title for the established franchise. This game's arcade cabinet houses a camera that will take a photograph of the player's face. The photo can be customized and then will be displayed above the player's character during multiplayer races. The game's sequel also featured Mametchi, a character from the Tamagotchi games. The third installment included Don from the Taiko no Tatsujin franchise.
