The game features NPC routines, faction-based quest paths, and a progression system where the player starts with no skills and must learn them from trainers. Navigation is done without a minimap, and the game world is 10 to 30 percent larger than the original, with expanded chapters and additional quest content. Combat and skill systems are based on the original game's design.
