Genre: Shooter
Belot is a single level short adventure for Doom 2, set in the shell of an old monastery. Tested in Nugget Doom at MBF21 compatibility, with some extra features for Nugget Doom players (custom HUD, custom UI sounds). Designed to be played without mouselook, jumping, or crouching.
In the wake of Aiuiin’s destruction, Ayba has tasked herself with extinguishing a hive of Hysterians taking refuge in the Belot Almhouse. Once, Belot was a haven for two tribes of exiles: The disgraced scholars of the Pygmarium Research Institute, and the Pel-devout Hysterians, last of their faith. Something is wrong, now — There are no scholars, and the halls run rampant with zealous Hysterian lunatics. The madness of Pel's worship has devoured this place, and only the destruction of his likeness will drive these fools from their nest. Destroy the statues in his image, and dive into Belot's rotten heart, where something awful sleeps.
