Using classic Rocky characters, locations, and music, Rocky: Legends puts the player in the boxing, ring recreating or rewriting the careers of the boxing franchise's heroes and villains. Play the career mode or jump into a 1-2 player slugfest. As you progress through the career mode, you must train to improve your skills just like a professional would, and use your fight purse to unlock more playable characters, arenas, movie trailers and more. Combinations of punches can be executed powerfully.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon brags a roster of 62 characters and sees the return of classic ones from the original Mortal Kombat, such as Reptile, Shang Tsung and Goro. There are now 64 arenas (including revamped versions of classic environments) which each have their own tweaks, such as the ridiculous amount of stage fatalities (fatalities are a fancy way of killing your opponent, including classic techniques such as the "spine-rip" or "arm-break").

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson is a 3D side-scrolling action game made for the 3DS, and was developed by the same team which created Senran Kagura Burst. New gameplay is included in the form of pair battles, which allows a second character, to which the player can give commands, to fight alongside the player's character. The playable characters in the game are customizable. Outfits, accessory size and position, and hair color can be changed to the player's liking. Augmented reality functionality was also included in the game. The playable characters could be posed against a real-life background in a variety of poses.

Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is an action video game in the Fate/stay night series. The game is a single-player action game in which the player takes the role of a "master", who works together with spirits known as servants, who fight large numbers of enemies. The player can name the master, and can decide if they should be male or female. There are sixteen playable servants in the game, divided into eight classes: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Caster, Assassin, Rider, Berserker, and Extra Class.
