Chameleon Twist 2 is presented as the direct sequel to Chameleon Twist and was published in 1999 by Sunsoft. After the events in Chameleon Twist, Davy and his friends are playing in the forest, still carrying the backpacks from their last adventure, when suddenly the rabbit returns and knocks one of the chameleons high up into the sky. The chameleon transforms into an enhanced-looking humanoid chameleon and goes on a search for six carrots in six different worlds, like Ice Land, Carnival Land or Sky Land.

Chameleon Twist is a 3D-Jump & Run, developed by Japan System Supply and released by Sunsoft in 1997. After following a rabbit into a magical hole in the ground, the blue chameleon named Davy realises that he has taken on a humanoid form. In an attempt to find a way back home, Davy is traveling throughout six lands with his friends, Jack, Fred, and Linda; together they discover Jungle Land, Ant Land, Bomb Land, Desert Castle, Kids Land, and Ghost Castle to find the certain magic portal.

Of the great discoveries in the universe, few are more important than the legendary 8 elements. When the evil Rukifellth found one of these elements - the powerful Celestial Stone - he used his influence to assemble the dreaded BHB Army. Armed with his new army and a giant space warship, the power-crazed Rukifellth began scouring the galaxy for the other 7 elements, invading planets and enslaving innocent races throughout the galaxy. Rukifellth controls these enslaved planets with special Gravity Generators - the same devices the BHB Army used to create a Black Hole. Rukifellth uses his Black Hole to capture new planets... But he should have thought twice before he tried to capture Bomber Planet!

A Bug's Life is a video game based on the Disney/Pixar film of the same name. It was released for various systems in 1998 and in 1999. The game's storyline is similar to that of the movie, with a few changes. After completing levels the player can unlock real clips from the movie. Its Game.com, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast versions were cancelled. Though the film was Roddy McDowall's final theatrical performance, the game was his final work before his death.

Doraemon: Nobita to Mittsu no Seireiseki is a 3D platform action game for the Nintendo 64. It was released only in Japan in 1997. The game is based on the Japanese manga Doraemon and has two Nintendo 64 sequels, Doraemon 2: Nobita to Hikari no Shinden and Doraemon 3: Nobita no Machi SOS!, both only released in Japan.

The story follows Goemon's struggles to prevent the Peach Mountain Shoguns gang from turning Japan into a Westernized fine arts theater. The plot calls for three cinematic musical features and battles between giant robots; like other Ganbare Goemon games, it is peppered with surrealist humor and anachronisms. The protagonist of Mystical Ninja is Goemon, a hot-blooded, kiseru-wielding ninja with blue, bushy hair based loosely on the legendary thief Ishikawa Goemon. The lord of Oedo asks him to find those who maimed Oedo Castle. Goemon lives in Oedo Town and is friends with Ebisumaru, a strange, gluttonous fat man who wears a blue bandana. Ebisumaru is defined as lazy and perverted. Their kunai-throwing friend Sasuke is a mechanical ninja (made by the Wise Man of Iga) who enjoys hot baths and Japanese tea. Rounding out the heroes is Yae, a fierce sword-wielding kunoichi, who happens upon Goemon's band in Zazen Town. The villains of the game hail from the organization Peach Mountain Shoguns and include a gang of four "weirdos" led by Spring Breeze Dancin' (Danshin Harukaze) and Kitty Lily (Margaret Ranko). They intend to transform Japan into a stage for their talents.
