Alcahest is an action role-playing game with a top-down perspective that plays similar to The Legend of Zelda. It is divided into 8 stages that are progressed by finding items that aid the protagonist Alen on his quest, and end with a boss battle. After specific boss fights, the player will gain the abilities of one of the four elemental Guardians. Alen will also find five allies that will join him at predetermined points of some levels. They are the young wizard Garstein, the princess Elikshil, the knight Sirius, the android Magna and the shape-shifter dragon goddess Nevis. Though they cannot be controlled directly, allies will attack and use special moves when the corresponding button is pressed.

Takt of Magic is a Wii video game by Nintendo released in 2009 in Japan. The game has yet to be announced elsewhere in the world. The game is a spiritual successor to Lost Magic on the Nintendo DS, and has similar gameplay, though is not a sequel. In the game the player will use the Wii Remote to cast spells by drawing a certain pattern. In all there are over 100 spells that you can execute. As in most games of this type (such as Lost Magic and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings), you'll be given a map of the overworld before each battle so you can make a plan. Once you enter a battle, you'll be able to choose four characters to fight alongside your main character. The status of your partner is indicated by their icon's facial expression.

Ragnarok Tactics is a tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable. It is a spin-off to Ragnarok Online. Many centuries after the legendary Holy War that forced humanity to erect a magical barrier to keep both gods and demons from overrunning their world, the Branshaldo Empire and the Aura Republic engaged in an extended war for control of the Grantria Peninsula. The conflict eventually ground to a halt and an uneasy truce was reached, as neither nation had the resources to continue fighting. Even so, the animosity between the two parties never faded, but smoldered beneath the surface, always threatening to explode into flames. In the resulting tenuous peace, the people of the peninsula began to resume their normal lives, always aware that the war could resume at any time. It was against this backdrop that the protagonist begins their fight against rival factions, hordes of ravening monsters controlled by enigmatic puppet masters, and even their own dark impulses...

Ancient Stone Tablets was a Japan-Only release for the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It was an add on made for Satellaview, a system that takes radio broadcasts and processes them into games live. The game came in four weekly broadcasts and made new additions to the original, such as weather, many new dungeons, and a new story. The game was much like a Second Quest or Master Quest of A Link to the Past, sharing a very similar overworld with slight changes and entirely new dungeons. Unlike a Second Quest however, it has an entirely new story. Various actions earned the player points, and these points could later be traded in to Nintendo for different prizes. Ancient Stone Tablets is different from most other Zelda games as the game's central heroes are actually the avatars of the player's ID for the BS-X Broadcasting System (Super Famicon), drawn into Hyrule, which is also true for BS The Legend of Zelda. The difference being that this time the player does not take the place of Link, but takes part in a new tale set after the events of A Link to the Past. The male character wears a green tunic (though others are later available) and a backwards baseball cap. The female character has long red hair and is otherwise almost exactly the same as the male.
