Coded Arms: Assault

Coded Arms Contagion is the sequel to Coded Arms. The gameplay is similar to the first game, Coded Arms. However, this time player has only 13 levels (and a training) with no random geometry, plus challenges which are available upon completion of a level. Full Motion Videos, storyline and much bigger landscapes are present. The player has to collect special point to upgrade his armor, health, and weapons. A new feature is included: the ability to hack computer panels, doors and turrets. The game's levels are divided into three portions: Industrial Zone, Military Zone, and A.I.D.A. Core. The only step back (compared to the previous title) is the absence of ragdoll physics.

Coded Arms is a visually stunning first-person shooter that places the gamer in the role of a computer hacker who infiltrates an abandoned virtual reality system. Originally created as a combat training simulator to prepare for an alien invasion, the VR system was shut down during development after a major flaw was discovered. Unbeknownst to its creators, the simulation program continued to evolve on its own, turning into a vast and brutal VR world populated with virtual alien invaders, dangerous computer bugs and the VR system's own security bots. Coded Arms: Assault was a first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3 which Konami was developing intended to be a sequel of Coded Arms for the PSP. It was rumored somewhere in 2007 that the game was canceled, but that wasn't confirmed until May 28th, 2008, when PlayStation Universe contacted Konami for their 'Missing PS3 Titles' article series and they stated that "there are no current plans to bring Coded Arms: Assault to the PS3 at this time,"
