F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is the sequel to F.E.A.R. and continues the series' trademark blend of supernatural horror and suspense. Many mechanics from the original first-person shooter have made their way into the game, like slow motion bullet time, and intelligent AI. New gameplay elements have also been introduced, like grab and drag movable cover, combat mechs, and iron sight aiming. The environments are now more open and less linear than those in the first game, and are also more diverse.

The earth is overpopulated and mankind must find a second home. The spaceship Amazon is sent to investigate Saturn and Jupiter for possible colonization. Near the end of its mission, all contact is lost with the ship except for a distress beacon. The player is part of the crew sent to the Amazon's last known location to find out what happened. Creature Shock is a first-person shooter with Full Motion Video and arcade-like elements. Aliens of all sizes and types will try to destroy the team, but each one has a weak point that can be exploited. The fighting takes place on the surface of asteroids and within mazes of passageways underground. There are also two 3D sections where the player gets to pilot the ship.

Dead Effect 2 is the newest addition to the acclaimed Dead Effect franchise. This action sci-fi shooter is looking to push the boundaries of first-person shooters to new levels with slick graphics, rich narrative, RPG elements and a cooperative multiplayer mode.

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released in April 2019 for PlayStation 4 and later for PC in May 2021, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where players control Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter navigating a landscape overrun by "Freakers," zombie-like creatures created by a global pandemic. The gameplay focuses on exploration, combat, and survival elements, with players able to use various weapons, craft supplies, and upgrade Deacon’s motorcycle, essential for travelling across the vast and hostile environment. Days Gone combines narrative-driven missions with an open world filled with dynamic events, enemy camps, and environmental challenges.

Fort Zombie is a role-playing video game developed by Kerberos Productions.[1] It was released on October 30, 2009. The game takes place on a version of Earth that is being invaded by an evil force which warps reality and creates zombies. Players control Ben Riley,[2][3] a young man who has survived through the destruction and is setting up a safe haven in the fictional town of Piety, Indiana[1]. Each version of Piety in any play-through is procedurally generated, with different houses, items and enemies placed each time the player enters the town.[4] Players must choose a location to fortify, build defenses and find supplies and survivors in thirteen in-game days before a zombie horde pours out of Indianapolis and overwhelms the survivors. The game began as a test for technology to be used in the upcoming game Northstar and uses a similar engine.[4]
