The game features a noir detective story about a PI by the name of Blacksad that gets dragged into the case of a murdered boxing club. The game feature an interactive system much reminiscent of Grim Fandango where you have direct control of the character and only things that catch his gaze is interactable.

Set in the same beloved universe as Torchlight I and II, this shared-world action-RPG brings back many of the franchise's signature features and mechanics that captured the hearts of ARPG fans around the world. The mystery is unravelled by replaying events and joining forces with different allies rather than by sifting through evidence directly. It is set in the same world as Stories: The Path of Destinies, of which it is the successor.
