Sega Rally Championship is a 1994 arcade racing game developed by AM5 on the Sega Model 2 board. The unique selling point of Sega Rally was the ability to drive on different surfaces (including asphalt, gravel and mud), with different friction properties, with the car's handling changing accordingly. As the first racing game to incorporate this feature, Sega Rally is considered to be one of the milestones in the evolution of the racing game genre. The music for the arcade game was composed by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, while the Sega Saturn port's soundtrack was done by Naofumi Hataya and the Guitar were played by Joe Satriani.
Pro Race Driver is a racing video game part of the Toca Touring Car series. V-Rally is a rally racing game initially developed by Eden Studios for the PlayStation. V-Rally was first released in Europe as V-Rally: 97 Championship Edition. Although the game has no connection to Electronic Arts' Need for Speed series, it was later published in North America by Electronic Arts under the title Need for Speed: V-Rally. Later ported to PC, N64, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color. It features 11 official rally cars and more than 40 courses with dynamic weather, terrain, and time-of-day variations. Players can fine-tune vehicle settings such as suspension, gear ratios, and steering before competing across three main modes: Arcade, Championship, and Time Trial. In Arcade mode, players advance through competitions grouped by difficulty, each consisting of four stages. Championship mode presents an eight-race tournament with points awarded for top-three finishes, while Time Trial mode focuses on racing against the clock or another vehicle for the fastest time.
SD F-1 Grand Prix is a Racing game, developed and published by Video System, which was released in Japan in 1995. It features animal versions of real-life drivers such as Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna.
NASCAR Thunder 2004 is a racing simulator by EA Sports, released in 2003 and available in separate versions for PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. It features the 2002 champion Tony Stewart on the cover with a scowling look to represent the new Grudges and Alliances feature. It was the only game as of 2002 to feature the previous Winston (Sprint) Cup Champion on the cover. The game had the most extensive soundtrack of the series up from four songs from the previous game.
