In the depths of space a holocaust has occured. Intelligent and hostile alien life-forms have taken over the Military Research Unit in the planet Azarin 2E. The evil Terracom corporation has struck a deal with alien forces to eradicate populated areas on key planets. This initiative has been named Project Overkill. Hades 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Espaço Informática, a Brazilian company. Espaço Informática placed Hades 2 in the public domain and offered a Freeware download of the game on 20 September 2009 to celebrate the project's 10th anniversary.
