Gekido (known as Gekido: Urban Fighters in Europe) is a beat 'em up for the PlayStation game console. The game uses a fast paced beat 'em up system, with many bosses and a colorful design in terms of graphics. The game features the music of Fatboy Slim and Apartment 26. Marvel comic book artist Joe Madureira also contributed. A version of Gekido was also released on the Game Boy Color in Europe. It was later followed by a GBA spin-off called Gekido Advance: Kintaro's Revenge. A second sequel has been announced, Gekido: The Dark Angel.

There are many items, which are available to use as a weapons against your enemies. Each player has their own assortment of moves and specials that they can unleash at will. Also all four of these characters have the ability to use the awesome 'Vertigo' technique! Demolish Fist is a well put together fighting game that has many things to offer the beat 'em up world.
