The toughest prison sim in the yard is back to serve its 3rd consecutive sentence - combining classic moments from the OG with the best aspects of 2D, while putting out a few hits of its own! Tackle crime from either side of the prison fence, while a larger world beyond it makes life worth living.

In Hard Time, the player assumes the role of a customizable prisoner in the Southtown Correctional Facility, doing time for a crime of their choice. Their main objective is to survive until the end of their sentence, while meeting basic needs, reforming, and making friends (or enemies) in the prison, as well as completing optional tasks for the inmates and wardens alike. Needless to mention, beat-ups and court cases are a constant threat among the daily life of the prison.

You’re a castaway stranded in the middle of nowhere. The storm is gone, the worst certainly not. Look for food and resources, craft gear, make a shelter. These are the basics, you will need much more to stay alive on this cut-off-the-world, yet not desert island. Build and burn, sail and explore, stay out of reach!
