Huanxiang Sanguozhi

An fantasy RPG set in the era of the Three Kingdoms in China that was developed by UserJoy Technology. In China there is a legend about the mighty Huangdi, the Yellow Emperor, who lived about 3000 BC. He waged war against two other powerful monarchs, Yandi and Chiyou, fighting for control over China. After a long time, the power of Yandi was reduced, and Chiyou disappeared, allowing Huangdi to become the emperor. But the war was not over. For centuries and millennia later it continued, taking different shapes - blood, battles and ambitions of warlocks would not end. In the Three Kingdoms era, 3rd century AD, the ancient war was revived once again. And so the seventeen-year-old boy Ji Xuan, proficient in sword fighting, and his older sister Ji Shuang, a master of demon-summoning, found themselves involved in a great conflict that will soon change their lives forever... "Huanxiang Sanguozhi", meaning Fantasy Story of Three Kingdoms, is based on historical events, featuring famous characters from the Three Kingdoms epoch, which became so popular in Asia thanks to Luo Guanzhong's classic novel. But the game gives a different interpretation to the story, involving fictional and supernatural characters and themes that were absent in other adaptations of the saga. The game plays like a traditional Asian RPG. You can set your combat style to be entirely turn-based, or with active time element, like in Final Fantasy games. The battles are viewed from isometric perspective, while navigation through the game world is done from a regular third person view. The enemies are visible in hostile areas, but appear randomly on the world map. The game allows you to choose between three difficulty levels.

Thousands of years ago, the great Xuanyuan, also known as Huangdi - Yellow Emperor - fought against the ruler Chiyou for control over China. Demons joined both forces in this great battle. Finally, Huangdi got the upper hand and became the emperor of China. Shortly before his death, he decided to reincarnate as a mortal many years later, so he came to the border of paradise, and spoke with the dragon demon Yinglong, who was supporting his rival before, as well as other demons. Yinglong descended upon the Earth, and his body parts turned into powerful weapons and artifacts - his claw became a sword, his eye a pearl, and his heart took the shape of a seal. The legends say that if someone can get one of the three artifacts, he can once again wield the power in the whole China. Fast-forward to 196 AD. It is the time of Eastern Han dynasty, the end of one of the several golden epochs of the Chinese civilization. Two gods, Yunkong and Daotian, are playing chess with each other to decide the fate of China. In the village Zhaode live two young noblemen, Chu Ge and his best friend Han Jing, as well as his beloved one Shen Yan. They live a normal life and wish to move to the capital and to find good jobs there. But an accident makes them meet their true destiny... The second Huanxiang Sanguozhi game takes us to the time period that preceeded the Three Kingdoms era by about a hundred years. Once again, the game deals with concrete historical events and characters, but adds many fictional elements to them, mostly of supernatural character. The gameplay is very similar to that of the first game. You control a party of heroes and fight enemies in turn-based or active-time combat (you can choose the type of combat since the beginning). The game features pre-rendered backgrounds and 3D cut scenes. It also allows you to choose between three difficulty levels.

Oriental Blue is an RPG from the Far East of Eden series. It has a unique magic system and different pathways the story can take depending on in-game choices. The game continues the tradition of the series. You play as either Tenran or Aoi, a teenage boy and girl, respectively, on quest to defeat the ancient evil that threatens the prosperous land of Jipang, to prove themselves worthy of the legendary Fire Clan, warriors who have been protecting Jipang for many generations from evil demons and warlocks. The land Jipang is very similar to medieval Japan, and during your adventure you'll also visit Mongolia, China, and other Asian countries. The most important new feature of the game is a non-linear storyline. You can tackle many missions in any order you want, and the storyline also changes depending on the outcome of major battles. If you lose against a boss enemy, the game is not over, but instead, a branching storyline path is revealed. Otherwise, the gameplay is similar to other Far East of Eden games, featuring overworld map traveling and first person perspective, turn-based combat.
