Complete with a computer generated Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell, with trademark insults, American Idol is a music-based, rhythm-action game that will allow you to create, style, and train a contestant for the competition. Once styled and trained you'll see your contestant progress through the auditions, various heats, and then, hopefully, make it to the grand final. You'll need quick fingers as you match the right combination of buttons to what's displayed on the screen helping your contestant sing a sweet harmony and dance to the rhythm of the song. Get it wrong and your voice fades and goes out of tune as the judges and later the audience grow unsettled.

Sing along to 40 new songs, including hits from the show, and compete from auditions to performances on center stage in your quest to become the next American Idol. The standard version of Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol does not include a Karaoke Revolution microphone (a special bundle is also available for those who need a mic). "Lips" is a Karaoke game similar to the SingStar franchise. "Lips" comes bundled with two motion-sensing, LED-lit microphones for $69.99 US. In addition to the 40 songs that come on the disc, players can plug in their MP3 player and sing along to their own music.

Bop to the Top with High School Musical: Sing It! With “High School Musical: Sing It!,” players express themselves through music with an all-new karaoke twist where they can choose their favorite “High School Musical” character and sing all of the songs from “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2”. Debuting as one of the first video games to have a microphone on the Wii platform, “High School Musical: Sing It!” features motion-captured-choreography from the original movie’s dance routines and offers two play modes. In story mode - players live the movies performing songs beginning from “Start of Something New” to “We’re All in this Together” and “What Time Is It?.” In party mode - friends compete karaoke-style against each other. Players can choose their favorite backdrop and belt out solos or duets of approximately 30 hit songs, including popular tunes from other familiar Disney Channel favorites.

The Black Eyed Peas Experience is a dance game along the lines of Dance Central or The Michael Jackson Experience. You follow along with the dance moves on the screen, like an aerobics tape that judges you at the end. It stars all your favorite band members like will.i.am, Fergie... uh... Anyway, The Experience works much in the same way any of these dance games do. For those of you that just want to have fun at a party, you can jump into any of the songs and dance. But the campaign mode is where you unlock new venues, clothing for your avatar, and learn the different routines step by step.
