Karous

Karous was the final commercial release for the Sega Dreamcast, in 2007. It has received an updated port with new assets for modern consoles.

In this unique vertically-scrolling shooter you take the role of a mysterious girl named Karous, who commands a tiny fighter ship and attempts to destroy an evil armada bent on world domination. The game plays as your average vertical-scrolling shooter, in which you must clear several stages by destroying all incoming enemies and surviving their onslaught. A unique addition to Karous, is that you don't collect weapons by power-ups, but instead upgrade each of your basic weapons (gun, sword and shield) depending on their use thanks to a basic experience module, with increased power and features at later levels (multiple shots, bullet reflection, etc.) The game uses cel-shaded polygonal graphics with a distinct black and white look.

One of the sequels to the game Space Impact for Nokia mobile phones. It was one of the pre-installed games on Nokia 3500 series phones (3510, 3510i, 3530).

The first Space impact game to be released on the Symbian S60 platform for the Nokia 7650 smartphone. Was released as an app that was available to download from the Nokia website.

The sequel to Space Impact Evolution. The game had two versions released. One was bundled exclusively with the N-Gage and the N-Gage QD, the other version was made for the 2nd edition Symbian S60 platform used by Nokia 6600 series smartphones.

The game is set in an alternate universe whose backstory draws on Norse mythology, spanning Nine Realms tied to a central artifact called the Monolith.

SkillGrid is an endless score-attack vertical shoot 'em up featuring frenetic, tactical gameplay and comprising of a variety of different sub-games, boss battles and sophisticated scoring mechanics.

Devil Drive Polaris is a single-stage vertical shoot 'em up featuring a player-controlled dynamic difficulty (rank) system that encourages ratcheting up the difficulty to chase higher scores. This game was developed in about a week for the fifth TWG game jam.
