The Tamagotchi 4U is a release of the Tamagotchi color series, released exclusively in Japan on September 27, 2014. Like the previous color releases, it was based on the then airing Tamagotchi! anime series GO-GO Tamagotchi!, featuring two new characters and taking place in DoriTama Town.

The Pokéwalker is a pedometer device specifically for use with Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver that is able to interact with the games in various manners. It was released in Japan on September 12, 2009 bundled with every copy of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and then later released with every localized copy of the games. The accessory has a Poké Ball design with a small monochrome LCD screen and three functioning buttons. The Pokéwalker supports infrared signals allowing players to interact within a short range with a game card of Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver while slotted in the Nintendo DS, or with another Pokéwalker. The system records every time a step is taken, and the daily step count influences which wild Pokémon and items will appear. The player can transfer a Pokémon to the Pokéwalker from either HeartGold or SoulSilver, which gains experience for each step. Like the Pokémon Pikachu and Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS, the Pokéwalker uses a currency known as "Watts" (shortened to w); every 20 steps will earn the player one watt. Players can also catch various Pokémon and obtain items on the device, then transfer them to the game. Alongside the Johto Safari Zone, the Pokéwalker allows for Pokémon normally unavailable until after the player has traveled to Kanto, such as Murkrow, to be available before defeating the Johto League. Much as HeartGold and SoulSilver are remakes of the original Gold and Silver, the Pokéwalker could be considered to be somewhat of a remake of Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS, which interacted in much the same way with the Generation II games. Unlike Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS, however, Pikachu is not the only Pokémon that can be interacted with, and Pokémon can actually be transferred to and from the Pokéwalker at any given time.

The Tamagotchi Uni is a virtual pet released by Bandai Toys on July 15, 2023. It is designed as a successor to the Tamagotchi Smart and the Tamagotchi Pix, and it is the first color-screen Tamagotchi device to have a simultaneous global release.

The Pocket Usapiyo is a licensed Tamagotchi Nano model based on the Tokyo Disney Sea Easter mascot Usapiyo. It was released exclusively at Tokyo Disney on April 22, 2019, coinciding with an updated rerelease of the Pocket Usatama.

The Eevee x Tamagotchi is a licensed Tamagotchi Nano model based on the Pokémon character Eevee.

The Gudetama Tamagotchi is a licensed Tamagotchi Nano model based on the Sanrio character Gudetama.

The Tamagotchi Nano is a Tamagotchi virtual pet released in Japan in 2010. It is the successor to the Tamagotchi Mini, and inspired by the Tamagotchi iD and Tamagotchi iD L.

The Tamagotchi Smart is a virtual pet released in November 2021, celebrating the Tamagotchi franchise's 25th anniversary. Unlike previous Tamagotchi releases, it is in the style of a wearable smartwatch, akin to the Apple Watch and various other devices. The Tamagotchi Smart uses TamaSma Card, also known as Tama Smart Card, which is a memory card that can be inserted into the Tamagotchi Smart to download additional characters, items, accessories, games, wallpapers, clock faces, and food.

The Tamagotchi Meets: Sweets version was released in Japan in November 2019. It features two new locations and seven new and returning characters: Dolce Town (Amamelotchi, Himedolcetchi, Hotcaketchi, and Patitchi) and Wagashi Village (Himeamachatchi, Tsubuanonetchi, and Wagassiertchi).
