Kerbal Space Program 2 is a sequel to its award winning 2015 predecessor, space sim Kerbal Space Program. As of June 28th 2024, the development studio behind it, Intercept Games, alongside Private Division, was shut down by Take Two Interactive. The Franchise is now in the hands of publisher Fictions, funded by Haveli Investments. The future of the game remains unknown as of January 2026.
