The PlayStation version is similar to the Nintendo 64 version in terms of graphics, but the gameplay differs significantly. It features the five main Rangers as playable characters, with the Titanium Ranger as an unlockable character. The game can be played in single-player or two-player mode and also includes voice clips from the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue cast. Once chosen, the player(s) remain as the selected Ranger(s) for the entire game. During Megazord battles, the player using controller one can operate the Supertrain Megazord, which is replaced by the Omega Megazord in the final stage. Another special feature is the password system, which allows players to enter cheat codes for infinite health, lives, continues, and powered-up attacks. Players can also unlock an art and picture gallery, start the game at any of the first six levels, and access the Titanium Ranger. The final stage of the game is only accessible if the player saves their progress on a PlayStation Memory Card after completing the penultimate stage.

The game also features film clips from the Disney movie of the same name, which ties in the adventures of Timon and Pumbaa with the original story of Simba and his quest to regain the kingdom of Pride Rock from Scar.

Players head out for an adventure with the Tiny Toons gang in Tiny Toon Adventures: Plucky's Big Adventure for PlayStation. In this title, based on the Tiny Toons animated series kids can play as Plucky, Hamton, Buster and Babs as they explore twenty-plus levels of Acme Looniversity in search of parts for a time machine for Plucky. While avoiding the incorrigible Elmyra and Montana Max, players help the gang seek out the time machine parts in order for Plucky to travel back in time to finish his homework. Searching all over the Looniversity in Acme Acres, players explore many places including the music room, history room, tennis courts and hallways. Items will vary from a bicycle pump to a potato and once an item is found, players can proceed with the level or return to the controlling character's respective locker to store the item. Each character can carry only three items at one time and players must decide which items are the most useful for each current level. Certain items are not time machine parts but rather will be used to acquire parts later in the game.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is a video game for the Sega CD console. It was produced by Sega TruVideo and released by Sega in US and Europe in 1994. The game consists mostly of footage from nine episodes of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, which featured footage from Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. Gameplay requires the player to press certain buttons at precise moments throughout the game as they appear on screen. If the player misses, the health meter will drop. However, there are points in the game where the player can press a button unprompted for extra points. At the end of each level, the player's progress is tallied. The points earned will be used to refill the player's health meter and can even score an extra life. Footage from episodes of the television series was used for the game. This footage was heavily cut down for disc space and level length. As a result, the five-part "Green With Evil" serial was turned into four small segments for the game. The game has a total of ten levels. Levels six and seven are playable only on normal and hard modes, and levels eight, nine, and ten are playable only on hard mode.
