Split/Second is an intense action racing game set within a reality television show. Competitors will vie to be the first to the finish line in a made-for-TV city set rigged to blow with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion. Players in Split/Second don’t just collide with other vehicles to knock them from the track, but can also trigger devastating events that drastically alter the dynamics of the race. Players must use pinpoint timing to obliterate huge structures and towering TV set pieces to tactically alter the track or create entirely new routes.

Need for Speed: Underground 2 is a street racing game and the first entry in the series to feature an open world environment. Set in the fictional city of Bayview, players drive freely between events while building their reputation through circuit, sprint, drift, drag, and Street X races, as well as outrun challenges and Underground Racing League tournaments. The game expands on its predecessor with broader vehicle customization options, a sponsorship system, and new race types. SUVs appear alongside the returning roster of tuner cars.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted takes on the gameplay style of the first Most Wanted title in the Need for Speed franchise. Most Wanted allows players to select one car and compete against other racers in three types of events: Sprint races, which involves traveling from one point of the city to another, Circuit races, each having two or three laps total and Speed runs, which involve traversing through a course in the highest average speed possible. There is also the Ambush races, which start with the player surrounded by cops and tasked to evade their pursuit as quickly as possible.

Dirt 3 is a rally racing game. Just like expected, most time is spent in races which, at least in most scenarios, are set in offroad environments. The main difference to other racing events is, that the player drives not alone, but has a front-seat passenger with him, who announces when to turn. The game features overall 98 courses, but some of those are just variations of the same. Also on board is the iconic ability to turn back time after screwing up. In contrast to Dirt 2, in this installment there are other playing modes than the career available, e.g. a single race. But the career is still the heart of the game; here the player tunes his car, participates in races and earns experience points, which are used to unlock new cars. There are six different race modes to solve during the career; e.g. regular races and "trailblazer" (no passenger available). Two of those are newly introduced: drift tournaments and Gymkhana, which are basically confined areas with a lot of stunt opportunities - the goal is to perform as many as possible in a limited time. Additionally every mode has special tricky bonus goals which reward more experience when fulfilled.

Rogue Warrior is a character-driven, first-person-shooter, featuring Richard Demo Dick Marcinko's explosive personality in an action-packed single player campaign, and intense multiplayer combat.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles is an open-world racing game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. Set in a recreation of Los Angeles, the game lets players take part in street races, time trials, and freeway battles while earning money and reputation to unlock vehicles, upgrades, and customization options. The game features licensed cars and motorcycles, with performance tuning and visual modification systems. Its open-world structure lets players drive through the city without loading separate tracks, using streets, traffic, and shortcuts as part of each race.
