Red Baron 3-D is a World War I combat flight simulation, essentially a heavily patched version of Red Baron II. The game is playable as a single-player game in either campaign or instant mission mode, or in a multiplayer dogfight mode against up to 100 opponents via internet game matching services. Players can play as French, British, German or American pilots and can choose from 22 authentic WWI planes.

Red Baron II by Dynamix, Inc is the sequel to Red Baron releases seven years prior.

It features vibration and G-force effects, 2 cockpit views as well as 3rd person and full screen, mid-air refuelling (in certain situations), 14 different missiles for air-to-air and air-to-ground battles, radar, and GPS. Change pilots, planes and weapons in the Hangar. Depending upon the scenario, take off from runways or aircraft carriers. Select Replay to view completed, saved missions.
