"The Tyrant Returns," the winner of the Original Scenario Contest held within Japan during October of 2016, will be added to the game.

Six stages will be added to Hero Mode: "Wargod under Siege," "Fall of the Imperial Han," "Rise of Shu-Han," "Yiling in Flames," "Beyond the Peach Garden," and "Southern Campaign.

The scenario "The God of War, Surrounded" will be added.

The scenario "Thirteen Heroes" will be added.
