Touhou Koukishin ~ Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity is a 3D RPG released on 16 August during Comiket 86. An updated and remastered version of the game for PlayStation 4, as part of Play, Doujin!, was announced on December 28, 2015. The game was confirmed for localization on June 2, 2016, under XSeed Games, for the digital North American release under the shortened title of "Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity". In May 22, 2018, a Steam version was announced in XSEED's 2018 3rd Party Lineup Announcement Teaser Trailer. Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity is the first Touhou Project game to be shown in E3.
This game features eight playable characters, with four starting preset teams of two and unlockable individual character modes. When playing with the character pairs, one character fires when unfocused, while the other switches in and fires when focused, with a reduction in movement speed. The two shot types can be drastically different. The individual characters, with the exception of Remilia and Youmu, do not change shot types while focusing/unfocusing. Imperishable Night features Last Spells. For the enemy, a Last Spell is a bonus Spell Card which the player can challenge without the option to use bombs and without the risk of losing lives. On the player side, Last Spells are secondary "bomb" Spell Cards, which last longer and do much more damage than normal bombs at the expense of two bomb stocks. Player Last Spells can only be used immediately after being hit, with a grace period of less than 1 second. Additionally, there is a "Time Orb" system which affects the story/score, as well as a gauge which tracks how human/youkai (normal/focused) you are and determines how you can collect more time orbs.
Touhou Puppet Dance Performance is a spiritual successor to the Pokémon FireRed hack Touhou Puppet Play, involving training and collecting puppets of various Touhou characters.

Shuumatsu (Weekend) features a heavy rebalancing of the rates for dropped items and Satori's Learning, changes some of the recipes (with the most notable one being the recipe for the Kusanagi, which now only requires 5 Iron as opposed to 30), removes the feature that made you lose all of your "unsaved" items after getting wiped out in a dungeon, and adds a few new things such as a mini-map and an easy mode you can toggle on or off whenever you want. On easy mode, you deal more damage, take less damage, your status effects have a higher chance to work and the experience penalty on killing enemies at a lower level is reduced. You can also now refight the final boss whenever you want during the expansion, which means that Kagami's Hyper Fang Crush is no longer permanently missable and can be learned by Satori whenever you want.
Touhou Genso Maroku is a traditional turn-based RPG released at Comiket 81. It is much like The Genius of Sappheiros, its predecessor from the same creator.
Touhou Gensou Maroku Utage is a Role-Playing game, developed and published by Strawberry Bose, which was released in Japan in 2012.
