Snake's Revenge

Snake's Revenge is a stealth action-adventure game developed by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Serving as a standalone sequel to Metal Gear, it was released in North America and the PAL region, capitalising on the international success of the NES version. Notably, this instalment was created without the involvement of series creator Hideo Kojima. Meanwhile, Kojima went on to develop a separate sequel for the MSX2 titled Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which debuted later in the same year in Japan.

The game revolves around Solid Snake, an operative of the special forces unit FOXHOUND, who goes on a solo infiltration mission into the fortified state of Outer Heaven to destroy "Metal Gear", a bipedal walking tank capable of launching nuclear missiles from anywhere in the world, as well as rescue a number of fellow agents who have been captured by the enemy. This version was later released inside the Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - Special Disc, along with other extras.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty is the sequel to the espionage action game Metal Gear Solid. Perfect Dark is an action video game developed by Rare and released for the Game Boy Color handheld console in 2000.
