Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released in October 2023 exclusively for the PlayStation 5, it is a direct sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020). The game continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they face new challenges and threats in New York City. In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, players can switch between Peter and Miles, each with unique abilities and combat styles. The game introduces new villains, including Kraven the Hunter and Venom, while expanding the open-world environment with more detailed and interactive elements.

This narrative-driven ensemble game stars Captain America Steve Rogers, Black Panther Azzuri (T'Challa's grandfather), U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos Gabriel Jones, and leader of the fledgling Wakandan Spy Network, Nanali. All four characters will be playable at different parts of the story. "Spider-Man 2" for PC and Mac is an almost completely different game than its console counterpart. This is not a port from the console version, but a different version developed by The Fizz Factor and published by Activision. As Spider-Man you must battle out through 8 chapters of mischief and mayhem to succeed. Along the way you will encounter and have to battle old foes like Rhino, Mysterio, Puma, Doc Ock and more. The game interface consists of a simple point and click system coupled with keyboard movement. Unlike it's console counterpart there is no free swinging movement but one designed with kids in mind. Fighting consists of basic punching, kicking, jumpkicks and a power meter that let's you do a supercharged attack. 'Spidey' can also zip to walls and objects and use his web to do basic attacks on enemies.

You and your fellow X-Men are lost in an alternate reality, only to discover that supervillain Apocalypse reigns supreme. Not only do you find yourself at the mercy of his minions, but also the line between foe and friend is dangerously blurred in this mirror universe. X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse is the first X-Men game released for the Game Boy Advance platform. It offers side-scrolling gameplay combined with fighting-game action. While in story mode, you'll battle Apocalypse's minions as you try to return to your own dimension. The N-Gage version of Spider-Man 2 is a 2D platformer, with some 3D races against time between the 2D stages. In the 3D races, Spider-Man needs to move higher or lower between buildings to avoid obstacles. The 2D levels are more traditional: climbing walls and ceilings, slinging webs at opponents, taking pictures for the Daily Bugle newspaper, using spider sense to reveal secrets, etc. The events are loosely based on the story of the Spider-Man 2 movie. The game offers fifteen 2D levels, five 3D levels, some Spider-Man comics' classical villains as bosses (like The Lizard, Rhino, and Doc Ock) and a scoreboard on N-Gage Arena.

Set in Metropolis, players control Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they battle a brainwashed Justice League under Brainiac's control. The game features third-person combat, open-world exploration, and live-service elements.

Lego DC Super-Villains is a Lego-themed action-adventure platform video game developed by Traveller's Tales. The fourth installment in the Lego Batman series of games, it is a spin-off that focuses entirely on villains of the DC Universe; it is the first in the series to do so since the villain levels from Lego Batman: The Videogame. While the core gameplay follows the same style as past Lego titles, including the addition of a two-player cooperative multiplayer mode, DC Super-Villains is the first title to incorporate a customized character into the story.

X2: Wolverine's Revenge is an action beat 'em up video game based on the Marvel Comics character Wolverine, a member of the mutant team X-Men. The action is played from a third-person perspective as players fight a number of armored soldiers, mutant creatures, and archenemies such as Sabretooth, Magneto, Wendigo, Lady Deathstrike, and Juggernaut. While Professor X is able to assist Wolverine with powers of telepathy, the surly comic book hero must ultimately carry out his adventure alone. To that end, players must tap into Wolverine's unique talents to overcome all manner of obstacles. Wolverine will be able to hunt and track his prey using his heightened sense of smell and ability to detect body heat. As Wolverine makes his way through the military compounds, he will need to avoid defense systems and guards, and find ways into locked rooms to discover the information he needs to survive.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an open-world third-person action-adventure game set in a version of Manhattan. Players control Spider-Man, web-swinging and wall-crawling across the city while completing story missions and optional street-level activities such as stopping crimes and rescuing civilians. Combat uses a free-flowing style with counterattacks and gadgets, and a Web-Rush mechanic lets players plan movement and strikes. A Hero and Menace reputation system rewards responding to crimes and penalizes ignoring them, which affects how the city and its enforcers treat Spider-Man. It is based on the continuity of the 2012 game rather than the films.
