Embodiment of Scarlet Devil features two playable characters to choose from, with two Spell Card types each. Reimu Hakurei can cover a wide area of the screen with weaker attacks, while Marisa Kirisame relies on her speed and power to make up for her thinner attack spread. The bombs show different behavior and damage depending on the character and type chosen. Unlike its predecessor, Mystic Square, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil comes with an "automatic item collection" feature, which allows you to collect all items on the screen by moving to the top of the screen if you are at full power, as well as a counter-bomb system, which allows you to avoid a fatal hit by using a bomb immediately. Though there are six total stages in the main game, playing on Easy will end the game after Stage 5.

Touhou Koukishin ~ Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity is a 3D RPG released on 16 August during Comiket 86. An updated and remastered version of the game for PlayStation 4, as part of Play, Doujin!, was announced on December 28, 2015. The game was confirmed for localization on June 2, 2016, under XSeed Games, for the digital North American release under the shortened title of "Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity". Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy is a indie game developed by GAMEPULSE. You play as the Touhou famous character Cirno, become a hero, and embark on her journey to liberate the Gensoukyo and save her dear princess.

The gameplay consists of action, platform, small puzzle solving elements and boss battle at the end of each stage. Sanae has Kirby's signature method of dispatching enemies by using the ability of inhaling with extreme power. By pressing X button repeatedly, Sanae is able to fly for as long as she likes to reach higher platforms or to find secret item locations.

Amapani! the name is short for Alice, MArisa, PAtchouli and NItori, is a 2D action platformer developed by Desunoya where up to four players are able to play simultaneously on screen. While it is possible to play alone, the game also supports online features. The basic gameplay premise is very similar to Super Mario series, however, Amapani! involves cooperation between four characters with different abilities in solving light puzzles, defeat enemies, open platforms, reach the exit and boss battle at the end of each stage. The game also includes extra stages with greater challenges and harder difficulties.
