Spyro: Season of Ice

The Dragon Realms are celebrating the ‘Year of the Dragon’ when a mysterious cloaked figure emerges to steal all the Dragon Eggs. Under the spell of the evil Sorceress, an army of Rhynocs is now guarding the helpless eggs in the Forgotten Realms. With new and old friends, Spyro is on a quest to recover the lost eggs, defeat the Rhynoc army and stop the evil Sorceress.

Spyro has been brought to the land of Avalar to defeat the evil sorcerer Ripto who has brought war to Avalar’s Homeworlds. Each Homeworld is being held captive by Ripto and his minions, and it's up to Spyro to defeat them and bring peace to Avalar’s realms.

The first game in the Spyro series has been completely remade from the ground up. It stars the title character, a young purple dragon named Spyro, and his dragonfly friend, Sparx, who must journey across the Dragon Kingdom to defeat Gnasty Gnorc, who has overtaken the 5 dragon Homeworlds by trapping the other dragons in crystal and turning their hoard of gems into an army of minions.

Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage is a handheld game featuring Crash Bandicoot in a crossover in the world of Spyro the Dragon. In these side-scrolling adventures, you can link up with three friends for a variety of multiplayer modes, including Party Games, Wager Games, and Card Trading. Connecting both Crash Bandicoot Purple and Spyro Orange gives you the option of unlocking special content and allows you to trade and wager the cards with friends.

Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy is a handheld crossover title with the Crash Bandicoot franchise. It is the first Spyro game developed by Vicarious Visions. The development team has given the dragon a more traditional side-scrolling environment for his overworld instead of taking him back to his isometric exploits. But the scrolling platformer is only part of the experience. Spyro Orange focuses on dozens of mini-challenges for its gameplay, like a vertical shooter where Spyro floats around blasting sheep or collecting gems, a rapid-button-tapping challenge involving tug-o-war and ice cube creation, or driving around in a tank, or knocking out a series of bad guys in a Breakout-style challenge. The game supports link cable play for multiplayer challenges.

Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs is the third isometric platform game developed for the Game Boy Advance. It was the last Spyro game to release under the Universal Interactive label, as the label would be phased out shortly after the game's release. In this game, RPG elements offer more depth than previous Spyro titles, including quests, mini-quests, and a new inventory system, creating more ways to enjoy the Dragon Realms and making this a completely new Spyro experience.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a collection of remakes of the first three Spyro the Dragon platformers, originally developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation. Rebuilt from scratch in Unreal Engine 4 by Toys for Bob, the trilogy features fully updated visuals, rerecorded voice acting, and a rearranged soundtrack by original composer Stewart Copeland. Players control Spyro, a young dragon, across three games of 3D platforming, collecting gems, rescuing characters, and defeating enemies using fire breath and charging attacks. The collection includes unified gameplay features across all three titles and offers both original and rearranged soundtracks.

Spyro 2: Season of Flame is the sequel to Spyro: Season of Ice. All the old characters from previous games are there, with Hunter and Bianca, and the player can also control Sheila the Kangaroo and Agent 9. Spyro has a few unusual abilities in this GBA game, including a fire/ice breath toggle. Some items can only be affected by one or the other. Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly is the fourth game in the Spyro the Dragon series and the first Spyro game to be on the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube. Gameplay is similar to the previous three console games. The only playable character is Spyro, however he can man several vehicles: Hunter's Manta Ray and the UFO's make a return appearance from Year of the Dragon, alongside two new vehicles, the tank and the Spitfire attack plane. Spyro: A Hero's Tail is the fifth console game in the original Spyro series and the ninth game in the series in all.
