I told you a thousand times already, I was NOT tired, I was not feeling sick when I saw IT!" "We respect your condition, Major Railey, but please try to understand how difficult it is for us to comprehend the story you are bringing before us today..." "The story? it's not a story, it's the truth, I saw Hell with my own ****** eyes!" "Major please calm down, there is no need..." "Don't tell me to calm down you ****. While you were here on Earth filling out forms, I was in outer space, volunteering to examine the Phenomena. And I am telling you that something terrible is on its way here" "All right Major, let's say that the Devil himself really came out of that place..." "Let's say!? Let me say something to you - you better get of your stupid **** and prepare my elite cadets of the 1st Aerospace Academy to defend Earth, or soon there won't be any Earth to defend." "Major, please, do not insult the General..." "**** you, **** the General, I am going to the Academy to prepare a surprise attack on the enemy." Major Railey was soon after locked away. But, fortunately for the Earth, before that, he managed to discover a way on how to project a residual image of our most advanced crafts to the Dimensions. Residual images were navigated from the Earth. It was then that this Dimension was named T-Zer0. The first craft that was sent out was destroyed in less that 0.2 seconds upon entering the T-Zer0 Dimension. But, it's computer managed to gather and send back enough information so that a proper resistance could be organized. It was then that we learned the truth about the five Guardians. Each Guardian is protecting one diamond, and it was only by collecting all five diamonds that we would be able to open the Dimension portal and face the main Guardian. the name of the main Guardian was impossible to pronounce by us, humans, so he was given the name Kakistos. The word Kakistos originates from Greek mythology, and means "the worst of the worst". It was used to depict the worst demon of all. So, we only found it appropriate enough to name him this way. It is now up to the brave cadets of the 1st Aerospace Academy to defend the Earth. We trained them the best we could, and we gave them the best crafts and weapons we have. There is nothing else we can do. The fate of our Dimension is in their skilled hands.

Warblade is a shareware computer game for Microsoft Windows and OS X, written by Norwegian developer Edgar M. Vigdal. The Windows version runs well on Linux under Wine. It is also available for retail in the App Store for iOS devices (in iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad versions). The game is a 2D space shooter in the vein of the perennial classic Galaga. It is a rewrite and modernization of a popular Amiga shareware game, Deluxe Galaga, which was written by the same author back in the mid-1990s. Where technically possible, the graphics and sounds are respectful to their Amiga origins.

Moon Patrol is a side-scrolling shooter that puts players at the controls of a six-wheeled moon rover that can jump and shoot. The goal is to move through the entire course as quickly as possible while shooting enemies for additional points. Cannons are mounted on the front and top of the vehicle, and both fire simultaneously when the fire button is pressed. Rocks, mines, and pits in the course prevent you from just holding to the right for maximum speed. Rocks and mines can be shot, but pits must be jumped. Some enemies fire shots that create new pits in the course, forcing players to react quickly.

Blazing Star is a scrolling shooter video game for the Neo Geo home game system. It is the sequel to the acclaimed Neo Geo shooter Pulstar, which was itself a close cousin to the R-Type franchise. A typically hefty Neo Geo ROM at 346 Mb, the game makes extensive use of pseudo-3D prerendered sprites, brief anime and CGI cutscenes (mostly during the intro sequence), and frequent Engrish voice samples and captions. While Blazing Star was superior in many respects to previous shooter games, some fans compare it unfavorably with Pulstar on the basis that Blazing Star was overly easy and there are those that prefer the simpler 2D sprite look over the prerendered sprites that came to dominate many of the more recent shoot-em-ups.
