Embodiment of Scarlet Devil features two playable characters to choose from, with two Spell Card types each. Reimu Hakurei can cover a wide area of the screen with weaker attacks, while Marisa Kirisame relies on her speed and power to make up for her thinner attack spread. The bombs show different behavior and damage depending on the character and type chosen. Unlike its predecessor, Mystic Square, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil comes with an "automatic item collection" feature, which allows you to collect all items on the screen by moving to the top of the screen if you are at full power, as well as a counter-bomb system, which allows you to avoid a fatal hit by using a bomb immediately. Though there are six total stages in the main game, playing on Easy will end the game after Stage 5.

Baroque Shooting is a vertical scrolling shoot-’em-up. It serves as a spin-off from the dark, post-apocalyptic roguelike Baroque, reimagined as an arcade-style shooter. In the game, you control an angelic character flying through desolate ruins populated by grotesque enemies from the Baroque universe.

MadRobot X is an old school shoot 'em up game. You control a robot trying to escape from the laboratory of a mad scientist, and to accomplish this, you'll need the help of GoboGobo, another robot who also wants to escape.

In this non-shooting shoot 'em up, you are a single white pixel who can absorb the bodies, abilities, and weapons of every enemy pixel you collect. It's up to you to stay either a small and nimble ship, or turn large and powerful. Just remember: protect your core white pixel, because every mistake could be your last.

Crimzon Clover: World Ignition is a fast-paced, top-down bullet-hell shooter where players command one of three unique ships through relentless waves of enemy fire. The game expands on the original with multiple play modes: Boost (adaptive difficulty), Original (classic arcade-style), Unlimited (brutal bullet chaos), and Time Attack (speedrun challenge), plus a Novice setting for beginners. Core to the experience is the Break Meter, which fuels powerful bombs and temporary power-ups: Break Mode amplifies firepower, while a full meter unleashes the devastating Double Break Mode, turning the tide against even the toughest bosses. A robust Training mode lets players customize scenarios to hone their skills. Perfect Cherry Blossom features three playable characters to choose from, and each character has two different sets of skills. Reimu Hakurei is relatively balanced in all areas. Marisa Kirisame moves faster, and uses more powerful attacks with less range. Sakuya Izayoi moves slower, and uses weaker attacks that can hit just about everything on the screen. A major addition to Perfect Cherry Blossom is the "Cherry" scoring system. Shooting enemies increases your Cherry Points, bombing or dying decreases your Cherry Points, and reaching 50,000 Cherry Points gives you a temporary shield. Cherry Points eventually lead to a higher Cherry Gauge, which increases the points you receive from Point Items. Other important changes are the appearance of your character's hitbox while you are focused, the properties of your attacks depending on whether you are focused or unfocused, and a helpful cursor along the bottom margin during a boss battle that shows the location of the boss. This game is also unique in that it includes a "Phantasm Stage" that can be played only after clearing the Extra Stage. ZUN stated that the Extra Stage in this game was meant to be an "easy mode" version; perhaps Phantasm Stage was the original Extra Stage during development.

Len'en Reiretsuden ~ Reactivate Majestical Imperial (連縁霊烈傳 ～ Reactivate majestical imperial) is a vertical-scrolling danmaku shoot 'em up and the third game of the Len'en Project. It was made by Trick Nostalgie's sole member JynX and released for the Windows operating system.

Hypnorain is a vertical bullet hell shooter. The player guides a character through handcrafted levels, shooting and dodging their way through an army of enemies and their mesmerizing bullet patterns. Each stage is divided into two parts - it starts with you being thrown into an area full of varied enemies and ends with an intense boss fight. Hypnorain is different from most other Shoot 'Em Up (also known as shmup) games with its careful level design. Unique enemy sequences and attack patterns will overlap with each other to challenge the player's reflexes and quick decision making. Will you risk losing a life for the sake of a few hundred extra score points, or will you choose a less rewarding, but safer maneuver? A single bullet hit will cost you a life, after all.

Remedy, a recent graduate from the Saturnian healing school, must descend to Hurtland and use her powers to heal everyone from stray ducks to dark lords, and finally cure the ailing Prince Hingst. It's a short, whimsical adventure with plenty of heart(s). This game was one of Ludosity's entries in the Games Against Ebola charity game jam in 2014. This version was made after the jam to include options, multiple savefiles, more difficulty levels, and gamepad support.
