The Shoot, known in Japan as Shooting Studio, is a rail shooter which uses the PlayStation Move controllers. The premise of the game involves participating in the filming of action movies; instead of the usual lives the player character's attempts to succeed are measured by "takes". The player-controlled B-Movie star shoots his way through multiple themed sets, filled with cardboard enemies and obviously fake environments. The game features five movies, all spoofing different movie genres, such as Horror and Westerns. Throughout these movies the protagonist is tasked with defeating enemies, freeing the civilians and putting on the best possible performance by activating motion-based power-ups. The player can shoot into the floor to send out a shockwave to vanquish all enemies on the screen. It is also possible to spin on the spot to slow down time and get a more accurate shot. Shooting into the sky activates Rampage, a powerful machine gun.

MotorStorm: Apocalypse (released as MotorStorm 3 in Asia) is a 2011 racing 3D video game by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It is the fourth game in the MotorStorm series and the third for the PlayStation 3. It was announced shortly before the beginning of the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 on the PlayStation Blog by Evolution Studios on 10 June 2010. MotorStorm: Apocalypse was released in Europe on 16 March 2011 but the UK release on 18 March was delayed by Sony Computer Entertainment UK following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The Australian launch went ahead as planned on 17 March, but Sony announced further shipments of the game to that country would be halted in the wake of the disaster. The planned North American release date of 12 April 2011 was delayed by Sony who later confirmed new releases dates of 31 March 2011 in the UK and 3 May 2011 in North America.

The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest for the PS3 and Wii tells the story of Aragorn during the War of the Ring. Samwise Gamgee is narrating, and recalls the story to entertain his children who want to hear about the adventures of Aragorn. The game differs in several ways from the PS2 and handheld versions - the biggest being the behind view perspective, as opposed to the birds eye of the PS2 version, and the 'between the main story sections' gameplay in the Shire. The Wii version has different shading and lacks many voice acted lines for NPCs, as well as the intro sequence features different art for the story telling. The game also lets you attack by swinging with your Wii remote or the Move controller for Playstation 3. The game also supports local co-op where the second player controls Gandalf.

Start the Party!, previously known as Move Party, is a 2010 augmented reality party video game for the PlayStation 3, which utilizes the PlayStation Move controllers. It was officially unveiled at the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The game is the first game developed by Supermassive Games and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment for release as a launch title for the PlayStation Move and was bundled with it in Asian regions excluding Japan. The game is a collection of augmented reality mini-games which utilise the PlayStation Eye and was released in Europe on 16 September 2010 and North America on 17 September 2010.

Dead Nation is a top-down shoot 'em up video game for PlayStation 3 developed by Finnish video game developer Housemarque. It was released on November 30, 2010 in North America, and December 1 in Europe. Players are awarded score multipliers and money when zombies are killed. You can play as a rookie cop battling five different gangs spread throughout Capital City in Pursuit Force. The game features 30 cases for you to close, using 55 different vehicles and 25 types of weapons. Each gang has a unique boss and lieutenant with their own specialized vehicles and missions. Taking down gangs fills up your justice bar, which can be used to slow down time for key stunts, fill up your life, or repair your vehicle. The game features Hollywood-style chases and gunfights to keep the action going during missions.

Virtua Tennis 4 is an action-oriented tennis game which focuses on fast matches instead of being a realistic simulation. The heart of the game is the career mode in which the player creates their own avatar. The goal is simple: reaching the top within four seasons. Here the player has various possibilities to improve their tennis player, e.g. by playing training sessions (arcade minigames like picking up eggs) to improve the statistics, buying new clothes with prize money or playing matches. The menu for this mode is made up like a board game. Other playing modes are single matches, party mode (playing the mentioned mini games) or arcade (winning as many matches in a row as possible). Here players can choose between 19 licensed athletes (plus at release already retired athletes in the PlayStation 3 version). The standard controls for returning the ball consist of choosing the desired move, e.g. spin and basic direction. When a special bar is filled up, players can unleash an especially powerful shot.
