BC Racers

BC Racers is a kart racing game starring characters from the Core Design's Chuck Rock series of games. Each of the racers in this game rides a prehistoric motorcycle with a side car. On each two-character team, one person drives the motorcycle, and the other fights off opponents using clubs, punches, kicks, etc. Graphics in BC Racers consist of a flat landscape decorated with scaled sprites to compose the track and scenery.

Chuck Rock II is a side-scrolling action game featuring the son of the protagonist Chuck Rock as he fights off dinosaurs and tries to help save his parents.

Chuck Rock is a side-scrolling platformer set in a comical Stone Age world. Players control Chuck, a beer-loving caveman who must rescue his kidnapped wife from the village oddball. Armed with his signature belly-buster attack and jump kick, Chuck battles an array of dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures across various levels. The game features a unique mechanic where Chuck can pick up and throw rocks to defeat enemies and reach higher platforms, adding a puzzle element to the platforming action. With its humorous tone and prehistoric setting, Chuck Rock offers a lighthearted and entertaining twist on the classic platformer genre.

The first in a series of 3 racing games endorsed by the legendary car company, which is now a part of Proton. The game features a total of 32 fictitious racetracks from around the world, split into 3 difficulty levels. There are 19 computer opponents (15 on the 8-bit versions) and you have to finish in the top 10 (top 8 on the 8-bits) to progress. The higher you finish in one race, the lower down the grid you start for the next race. The opposition drivers have pun names based on the F1 drivers of the day - examples include Ricardo Pastry and Crashhard Banger. You can choose between sound effects or one of a variety of music pieces. The game features a simultaneous 2-player mode, but the 1-player mode only uses half the screen, a simple animation filling the other half. In most races you will have to make a pitstop for fuel in order to reach the finish. The tracks include features such as oil slicks, roadworks, boulders and rivers - contact with these (or the other cars) will slow you, but there is no car damage model.

A game where a different types of dinosaurs fight each other using their teeth and claws until one defeats the other. All dinosaurs have little human masters. The master of the losing dino will be eaten at the end of the fight. Taito, the Dino Rex maker, released 403 different machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1967. Caveman Rock was a puzzle game designed for PlayStation 2, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC. Only the PS2 version was ever released. This prehistory themed game is easily described as Bust-A-Move or Puzzle Bubble, but upside down. Instead of popping bubbles by shooting the colored bubbles upwards, you destroy rising rocks by dropping down the colored rocks. You can also earn money that can be used to upgrade your companions that can help you along the way.

Prehistoric times, beware -- The Flintstones have invaded the bowling alley! Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm, and Dino are taking advantage of a newly transformed Bedrock. The Land Before Time: Great Valley Racing Adventure is a cartoon-styled racing game designed to offer nonviolent fun and challenges for kids of all ages. Favorite characters from the series of animated films speed over prehistoric courses stocked with tricky obstacles and special Treestar power-ups. Players can choose to challenge a computer-controlled dinosaur opponent or race against a friend as they guide Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, or Spike towards the finish line, in sunny weather or rain, through 3D environments set in The Land Before Time.

Caveman by Tomy / Grandstand 1982 Tabletop game, in which you play a caveman trying to steal dinosaur eggs without getting caught. Intrepid Computer Entertainment and Lionhead Studio's action-adventure B.C. would have pitted players against a variety of pre-historic wildlife in an open world sandbox. The game was cancelled in late 2004 to focus work on other projects, with game director Peter Molyneux hoping it might one day be revived.
