All of the games allow up to 4 players playing at the same time, or in the case of Bocce and Disc Golf, taking alternate turns. All the games use the Wii Remote only, no games require the use of the Nunchuck or any other peripheral. After creating a character, the player can compete in tournaments against increasingly tougher opponents in any of the sports. Playing Quick Play games and Tournament games earns the character Skill Points. These are then used to calculate the difficulty of the CPU opponent for future Quick Play matches. Hence, after completing all tournaments for all the sports in Big Beach Sports, where each game has a preset difficulty, the player can then return to Quick Play and continue to max out Skill Points (999 points) for each of the six sports. In the case of most of the sports, however, the game becomes extremely challenging and the AI opponents are much tougher to beat after reaching 900 skill points.

Wacky World of Sports, is a video game featuring non-conventional sports like tuna tossing, lumberjack sports and cheese wheel rolling where you can compete against yourself in tournaments or battle friends and family in multiplayer modes.

SKI AND SHOOT is an arcade, tactical 3D simulation of one of the most popular winter sports. Compete against other skiers on tracks that wind through wonderful wintery landscapes under the shadow of snow-capped mountains. Tuck to increase your speed in the steep sections of the course and hold your breath as you fire on the shooting range to ensure your victory. Summer Athletics: The Ultimate Challenge is a collection of sports events based on the Olympic Summer Games. It features 28 sports divided into eight disciplines: Swimming, jumping, throwing, cycling, running, platform diving, archery and the new skeet shooting (two variants). The handling is similar for all of them: rhythmic motions to keep the athlete moving and quick time events (pressing a button when it gets displayed on the screen) for performing certain actions. The mentioned rhythmic motions depend on the input device the player uses, e.g. at the swimming event the player needs to press two buttons alternately when using a keyboard and rotate the analog sticks when using a gamepad. The player character aims automatically during the skeet shooting, the player himself only has to shoot at the right time.

Family Party: 30 Great Games Winter Fun delivers hours of family entertainment on Wii where players can choose from over a dozen cute characters dressed head-to-toe in customizable winter outfits, and can participate in up to four player action including multiplayer co-op.
