DanceDanceRevolution World is the 19th installment of the Dance Dance Revolution arcade series in Japan (and the 10th outside of Japan). It is the sequel to Dance Dance Revolution A3, and is currently the most recent release.

The game was released as an update on golden cabinets in Japan on March 17, 2022, including those imported in the United States. An upgrade for older cabinets was released in Asia (including Japan, South Korea, and several other countries), Australasia, and the United States on June 22, 2022, with a larger U.S. rollout on August 19th, 2023.

Dance Dance Revolution II, later released in Europe as Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 5, is a music video game in the Dance Dance Revolution series by Konami. It was released on October 11, 2011[1] for the Nintendo Wii in North America and on November 24, 2011 for Europe. Dance Dance Revolution II is the direct sequel to Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii. This game shares songs with the arcade version of Dance Dance Revolution X3 vs 2ndMix. It features characters from the arcade versions of Dance Dance Revolution.

The gameplay of this game remains relatively unchanged from the original game. New modes on Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3 include Tournament Mode, Relaxed Mode, DDR School, Hypermove Mode, and Wii Balance Board Modes. Returning modes include Free Play Mode and Training Mode. Dropped modes include the "Groove Circuit/Arena" Mode. It has been replaced with Tournament Mode. The use of hand markers have been removed from Free Play Mode. They are still existent in DDR School and Hypermove Mode, but are called Punch Markers.

The concept of the game is the same as the original Just Dance. Requiring only one Wii Remote per player, up to four people can play at a time, as they follow on-screen choreographed moves set to classic dance tracks. There are four new dance modes. In "Just Dance Mode", players can get together and dance for as long as they want, just for the fun of it. Other options include "Non-Stop Shuffle" for a non-stopping gameplay, and "Medleys", in which short pieces of 5 songs are mixed. The second new mode, "Duets" allows players to dance together, and in the process forces them to pay more attention to the players around them instead of simply following on-screen prompts. "Dance Battle Mode" is a team mode that features up to 8-player support.The individual scores are the basis of the overall team scores. Break Street is a break dancing game. First off you choose a dancer to play out of the four possible options, including the two man team of "Double Trouble". Warm up mode allows you to test various dance moves. Moves are triggered by joystick directions and use of the fire button. They range from simple moves such as the moonwalk to more complex maneuvers such as the head spin. There is a decent variety of moves available thanks to the same joystick action doing different moves depending on whether you are standing or doing floor moves. The main game portion gives you a time limit in which to perform your moves and rack up points. An energy bar on the left side of the screen diminishes as you do the more complicated moves. In order to regain some energy you can do a simple move such as uprock or the moon walk. Complex floor moves drain energy quickly. If you are close to running out of energy your character will turn red, warning you to shift to something less strenuous. If the energy bar is completely drained, your performance will be over and your dancer noted as being "beached out". It is also possible to fail at a hard move, causing your character to sit and cry on the ground, ending your round.
