Could be interesting
OK kiddies, let's play a little game. I'll start describing the scenario of this cute little original game by Bubble Bus, and you tell me when you think you can guess the game before it loads All right ? Here we go: "... Living in a haunted mansion isn't much fun, especially when the ghouls take over. Muncher man must gather up all the food before the ghouls get him !' No, Muncher Man does not come from Munich, and I don't know why he doesn't get his food from the nearest McDonalds. Maybe he's a trendy veggie? I see you're going to need further clues. Muncher Man's house looks suspiciously like a maze, with lots of little round bits of food in it (Not yet! Wait a bit). You have to wander about the maze, eating the food, and avoiding the ghouls (now you can start guessing). When you eat a special pill (left over from a previous police raid), you can chase and eat the ghouls (but go easy on the spirits), getting a large bonus from your local exorcist as you do so.(You must have it by now). Fruits pop up in the maze at random. What do you mean, "I haven't got it yet?" Insert tape in ear, press any key and re-read from start. This fiippin' well is Pac Man, however deceptive the picture of the dinosaur might be on the cover. Mind you, with names like Classic Muncher, Back Man, or Ghost Gobbling or some such, waddya expect? Asteroids? You certainly don't get many hints from the loading screen - there isn't one. Another missing link is the sound effects - not exactly stunning, to say the least. At least you can use your own idea of keyboard and/or joystick layout. The sneaky bit that got me at the end of the first screen was that they went and changed the maze around. You don't see that on many Pac Man clones, though this one certainly swiped enough memory for several different maps. If you're into being grabbed by the ghoulies in the hedges with some fruit, then you could do worse than buy this one. Bubble Bus are currently running a competition on the high scores. The prize, more software. But don't let that influence you unnecessarily.
Seventh game released for the Epoch Cassette Vision, despite being labelled game six, due to a delay during production. A clone of Pac-Man but with an unorthodox maze layout using a plus and blocks to make up the arena.
A Pac-Man clone without the power ups.
Your goal is to fill the empty space and capture the monsters by building a wall around them. You can advance to the next level once 80% of the space is filled. Don't let the monsters touch you, and try to get the power-ups that appear randomly around the screen.
Crazy Crab is a pac-man variant. The player controls a spider-monster and must gobble up all insects in the top-down maze. Each insect eaten earns the player points. The player is chased by four horrors that must be avoided. When the player eats a green insect he briefly gains the power to defeat the horrors. If the player manages to eat four horrors within five seconds an extra life is won allowing the player to score even more points. There are twelve game variations with different maze layouts, insect locations, and game speeds.
Small hero is lost in a big maze. Help him find the way out. Collect all coins needed for exit to be opened. Avoid monsters wandering around. Use various powerups to your advantage.
Grab-A-Crab is a top view single screen maze game inspired by the arcade game Pac-Man where you play the role of Hobbler the Gobbler who will eat anything. You have discovered a cavern with old turtle eggs and you plan to eat them all over various levels to fulfill your large appetite. As you eat the eggs around the maze, four crabs also move around the maze and have to be avoided or you lose one of three lives. There are four dodo eggs in each corner and if eaten allow you to eat the crabs for a short period of time. If you eat a lobster pot in the centre of the maze then you receive an extra dodo egg.
Munchees is a Pac-Man clone where you must move around a maze to clear it by eating all the dots. As you eat the dots you have to avoid ghosts and if you touch one then you lose one of three lives. There are power-pills that can be eaten and these allow you to eat the ghosts for a short time. You have a choice of how many ghosts on the maze (1-4).
Party Man, by Srxraposo, is a Pac-Man clone where you have to keep drinking more beer!
