The Evatchi, also known as the Multipurpose Egg Shaped Decisive Weapon Evatchi is a licensed Tamagotchi Nano model based on the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Special Governmental Agency NERV has developed the technology to apply retroversion on Angels, forcing them into their embryonic state to be raised in egg-shaped containers filled with L.C.L. The egg-shaped armored containers are built to restrain Angel from its rampage and allow people to carry them outside of the organization’s laboratory. As a member of NERV, you have been assigned to raise the Angels using the ‘Evatchi’, and based on how you handle various events, the Angel will grow into various forms. Attend to any instances of L.C.L. corruption and break through all generated A.T. Fields!

This game is an interactive adaptation of Neon Genesis Evangelion for N64. Called Shinseki Evangelion in Japan, the Gainax-produced anime series originally aired from October '95 to March '96 and soon spawned a feature movie release in '97. The N64 game starts in the year 2015, 15 years after Second Impact. The Angels have returned and suddenly attack Tokyo-3. Using so-called "terror-fields" that cannot be penetrated by ordinary weapons, the Angels are taking on every human force sent out to oppose them. That's where you come in. As the pilot of the NERV-designed Evangelions, Shinji Ikari, you take your giant humanoid combat mech into battle with the Angels. Gameplay can best be described as interactive anime, as it relies heavily on timed button presses.

Each pilot needs a good vehicle, or a robot in this case. You fight other piloted robots. For victory, You gain money, for money, You can buy some upgrades and beat more robots. The economy part of this game is really simple :-), but gives new experience from a simple fighting game. In the background story of the robot-fighting games are multinational corporations. One such corporation, World Aeronautics and Robotics (WAR), runs the entire show. WAR was started as a research institute to provide human-assisted robots for space travel. Their first prototypes were activated in 2009 and were immediately put to use by a conglomeration of companies from Japanamerica to build the first ACTIVE space station. The HAR's were better than conventional robots in that they were completely operated by a single human whose brain controlled the robot's systems via remote. The "pilot" actually "became" the robot for all intents and purposes, but no danger to the pilot was possible. At the end of 21st century You have a chance to write history. You've waited for this night since you were a child. Fifteen years of training will be used tonight. The main prize is waiting...

Detective Evangelion (Meitantei Evangelion), an adventure/strategy PS2 game published by Broccoli, follows Shinji Ikari, a detective hired by Nerv, as he attempts to uncover the truths behind a series of murders. The game was released in Japan on Jan 17, 2007 and include voices from all the original Seiyū. There were 2 editions of the game: a standard edition which included a Nerv magnifying glass/key chain if you pre-ordered; and the premium edition (about 26,040円) which included a multi-face analog watch. You play as Shinji the detective in an adventure style gameplay, talking to the Nerv personel and other people in the environment in order to pick up clues within the conversations. The game starts as Shinji emerges from an outdoor stall with sirens blaring in the background. He then finds Rei Ayanami being attacked by a teenager with tentacles. Shinji must then fight the teenager in order to free Rei. From this point on, you pick locations and explore, the ultimate goal being to discover the identity of the killer that's committing murders all over Nerv and Tokyo-3. At each of the locations, you can interact with the people there, with the occasional action sequence or mini game. All of Shinji's friends, Gendo and Misato all appear in the game.

The Japanese animé series known as Gundam Wing is the basis for Gundam Battle Assault, a 2D one-on-one fighting game for the PlayStation. This robotic brawler pits Gundam against Gundam using a traditional side-view fighting engine. The different robots that appear in Gundam Battle Assault spring forth from all over the series' lengthy fictional timeline. New fans will most recognize the Gundam Wing model, while those who've followed the different shows for a while will find many old favorites, such as Z Gundam, Qubeley, and Zaku II.

Tech Romancer is a 1998 3D fighting arcade game by Capcom that draws heavily from the various subgenres of mecha anime. It has been ported to the Dreamcast console. The player controls a giant robot which is used to fight another robot in one-on-one combat. Studio Nue (the animation studio responsible for the mechanical designs for many anime series including The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Gunbuster, and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory) designed the robots in this game.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel, also known as Neon Genesis Evangelion: Iron Maiden, is a video game based on the Gainax anime/manga series Neon Genesis Evangelion, released officially only in Japan for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PlayStation 2, PSP, Windows (PC), and Macintosh. On January 20, 2005 a sequel was released titled "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel 2nd" for the Playstation 2, and while it does feature much of the cast of the original game, the story is unrelated to the original's.
