Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria is the second installment of the Valkyrie Profile series. Taking place hundreds of years before the original game, the story revolves around two characters living the same body, named Silmeria and Alicia. Together, the two characters work to stop a catastrophe that could cause war between the people and the gods. The game received generally positive reviews, citing its similarity to the original Valkyrie Profile game and its beautiful graphics, but had a convoluted interface and a high degree of difficulty. The game went on to be re-released as a Square Enix "Ultimate Release".

After going dark six years ago, 2010 will see a new dawn. Golden Sun DS updates the popular portable Golden Sun role-playing series with an impressive graphical style. This installment follows the story of the previous heroes' descendants and immerses players into the magic of its adventure by pushing the boundaries of intuitive touch-screen controls.

Starting development in 2005 under the codename "Rapture", FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE was announced in 2009 for Windows and the PlayStation 3. It ran on Square Enix's Crystal Tools middleware engine, which was adjusted to suit the game's specifications. During development, the team carried over multiple aesthetic elements from FFXI while creating something that stood on its own. Due to several factors, the development was beset by problems that would later have drastic effects on the game. Attempts to bring the game to Xbox 360 consoles fell through due to disagreements with Microsoft about the use of Xbox Live. After its alpha test and a delayed beta test, the game went live on September 30, 2010, remaining active until its servers were closed on November 11, 2012. At launch, the game received a mixed to negative reaction: while the graphics and music met with general praise, other aspects were unanimously panned, including the gameplay, interface, and the general impression of the game being unfinished at launch. Critic and fan backlash caused Square Enix to pull subscription fees, indefinitely postpone the PlayStation 3 version, and eventually develop an entirely new version of the game called FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE: A REALM REBORN. The poor reception has had a serious impact on the FINAL FANTASY series, with both staff and company officials saying that the brand had been damaged.

Even though they are related by blood, they have to make difficult decision on who they should help. Who will they choose? They have to save each others while not knowing the mysterious force at the bottom of the land's river... *Features* Three kingdoms to play with the player chooses the order of which kingdom they want to get first. 25 unique characters. Town menu. Weapon level in blacksmith system. Tavern in each capital city with various different quests for the player to grind. Different strategy depending on the player's choice of kingdom. Ether creation at the end of each battle depending on which characters used in the battle.

Depth Fantasia, Enix's latest massively multiplayer online PC RPG, has had its official Japanese release date set for December 12th of this year. The game follows on the heels of Cross Gate, another MMORPG released by Enix this summer. Depth Fantasia will continue Cross Gate's excellent standards, and will help to further open the online RPG market in Asia. Depth Fantasia allows up to four players to join a party. The party will travel to Ritos Island where they will slay demons, collect Life Gems, and restore order to the cursed land. Players will build their characters based on a class system. As with any other class system, characters learn abilities and then pass them on to more advanced classes. To gain levels, one will need to find Life Gems, or fight another player in a duel. Players will interact with a number of NPCs. These characters all have a unique niche in the world; some examples of these roles include fearsome warriors, mystic sorceresses, and holy clergymen. Each NPC will give the player advice and assistance in completing their quest.

Mimana Iyar Chronicle blends the traditional RPG elements of vast map exploration and treacherous dungeon spelunking. Engage in fast-paced battles in a quasi-3D environment where you control the character's movement and actions, and strategically command your party to turn the tide of battle. Your actions dictate how the story unfolds, through numerous fully-voiced event sequences.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV is the ninth installment in the main Trails series, serving as a direct sequel to the events of the The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and the ending to the Erebonia arc. The continent of Zemuria is dragged into conflict as the Erebonian Empire mobilizes the full force of its military. The heroes of Class VII old and new must unite to end the conflict before it consumes the continent.
