Wipeout is a racing game that is set in 2052, where players compete in the F3600 anti-gravity racing league. The game allows the player to pilot one of a selection of craft in races on several different tracks. There are four racing teams to choose from, and two ships for each team. Each ship has its distinct characteristics of acceleration, top speed, mass, and turning radius. By piloting their craft over power-up pads found on the tracks, the player can pick up various weapons and power-ups such as shields, turbo boosts, mines, shock waves, rockets, or missiles. The power-ups allow the player to either protect their craft or disrupt the competitors' craft.

Mad Tracks is a Micro Machines-style racing game. It was developed by Load Inc. for the PC (under Microsoft Windows) and was released in 2006. The Xbox 360 version was released on Xbox Live Arcade on May 30, 2007. This game is not to be confused with the same titled Mad Tracks racing game released in 1998 developed by Rayland Interactive.

R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 is the fourth game in the Ridge Racer series. It includes eight tracks (with reverse variants, for a total of 16 layouts) and 321 vehicles, all of which are fictional. A 2D physics-based racing game where players control a driver named Bill Newton across hilly terrains using simple gas and brake controls. The goal is to travel as far as possible through progressively difficult stages while collecting coins for vehicle upgrades and managing a limited fuel supply. While airborne, the controls rotate the vehicle, allowing players to perform stunts for bonus coins. The game features a variety of unlockable vehicles and stages, and uses a freemium model. Its success led to a sequel in 2016, and the franchise surpassed one billion downloads in 2018.

Based on the classic Wacky Races cartoon, this game puts players in the role not of a racer but of a gambler. Players choose different races and gamble on the outcome. Players can pick two different drivers they expect to come out on top. The racing itself is presented via prerendered CG cutscenes with some branching, so players' guesses aren't purely a matter of memorizing the cutscenes. With the money players earn, they can take part in the "trip" mode where they travel through the world of Wacky Races collecting items.
