Touhou Puppet Dance Performance is a spiritual successor to the Pokémon FireRed hack Touhou Puppet Play, involving training and collecting puppets of various Touhou characters.

Based on the Touhou Puppet Dance Performance, the game focuses on combat with Yuki as the main character. Using a party of prepared dolls, the player takes on NPCs who, unlike in the main game, are more human-like in this puzzle-like mini-game.

Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy is a indie game developed by GAMEPULSE. You play as the Touhou famous character Cirno, become a hero, and embark on her journey to liberate the Gensoukyo and save her dear princess.

This game features eight playable characters, with four starting preset teams of two and unlockable individual character modes. When playing with the character pairs, one character fires when unfocused, while the other switches in and fires when focused, with a reduction in movement speed. The two shot types can be drastically different. The individual characters, with the exception of Remilia and Youmu, do not change shot types while focusing/unfocusing. Imperishable Night features Last Spells. For the enemy, a Last Spell is a bonus Spell Card which the player can challenge without the option to use bombs and without the risk of losing lives. On the player side, Last Spells are secondary "bomb" Spell Cards, which last longer and do much more damage than normal bombs at the expense of two bomb stocks. Player Last Spells can only be used immediately after being hit, with a grace period of less than 1 second. Additionally, there is a "Time Orb" system which affects the story/score, as well as a gauge which tracks how human/youkai (normal/focused) you are and determines how you can collect more time orbs.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura is a mobile rhythm game. It will be the first dedicated Touhou arrangement rhythm game to be released on smartphones and with gacha mechanics. The rhythm game session will be presenting the character having a danmaku battle against an opponent with a beatmap on the foreground. Touhou Koukishin ~ Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity is a 3D RPG released on 16 August during Comiket 86. An updated and remastered version of the game for PlayStation 4, as part of Play, Doujin!, was announced on December 28, 2015. The game was confirmed for localization on June 2, 2016, under XSeed Games, for the digital North American release under the shortened title of "Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity". In May 22, 2018, a Steam version was announced in XSEED's 2018 3rd Party Lineup Announcement Teaser Trailer. Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity is the first Touhou Project game to be shown in E3.
